Title: The Principle of Faith/ James 2:22
Content Principles of Faith/ James 2:22
Key Verse: “Behold, faith worked together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect” (James 2:22).
Word: We want to have great faith. Every member of the church wants to have “great faith that can move mountains” in the words of the Bible. How can I become a Christian with such great faith? Also, through what kind of faith training will this belief be created?
First, we must keep in mind that faith is a 'simpleness training'. Faith is not complicated. It is not based on theory. Because it is always based on God's promise. Therefore, believing in God who fulfills His promises is faith itself. Those who simply believe will grow their faith. And that simplicity is what makes history and creates miracles. The conviction that Jesus can heal you is not based on theory. It's just belief itself. So it's simple. You simply have to believe that ‘heaven exists’. Simple faith is not against the Word.
The second is 'rapid training'. It is always immediate obedience. Satan's strategy to hinder our faith is always the temptation to 'start tomorrow'. Let's read the Bible from tomorrow, let's go to church from next week... . Satan does not deny it. However, ‘next time we get a chance’ is that it always breaks our faith and makes us retreat. If your heart is touched, do it now. When the Word is proclaimed, obey immediately. If there is anything you need to pray for, get down now. When you realize your sin, repent immediately. If you fill the water jar with water, just pour it. Then it becomes wine. If you hit the sea with a stick, you can hit it. Then it will split.
Third, it is ‘hardness training’. No matter how good our faith is, if we are not strong, we always fall, stumble, become frustrated, discouraged, and give up. It's hard to build trust, but it's just a matter of falling over. Therefore, building trust is important, but keeping it is even more important. No matter how good the offense is, if the defense is bad, you will score goals. Strong faith is built in hardship. A strong faith is the years and experience of applying it and putting it into practice. Experienced faith makes us fat and strong.
This is the principle of faith. Simplicity Fastness Robustness cannot be neglected. As this harmonious faith rolls in, it snowballs and becomes a mature faith.
Prayer: God, help me to have the right faith. So let me be a true Christian. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
