Title: The Promise of Salvation

Bible: Psalm 92:14-16

Starting Point of the Word>>

Today, we would like to share grace with you under the title of “The Promise of Salvation” through the words of this text.

The Psalms are composed of 150 Psalms in total, and are written as the earnest confessions of faith by each author.

That is why the Psalms are the words that contain the precious confessions of faith of those who have met God through various situations in their lives.

What is even more surprising is that there are many authors who wrote the Psalms, and their consistent confession is,

“The Lord God is with me yesterday, today, and forever.”

That is a confession.

These are the words that testify that it is God who solves our problems in life.

No matter how many things you have, no matter how much you have honor, no matter how high you are in power, if your life is without God's help, you cannot achieve true peace.

Truly absurd things are happening these days. The eldest son of a modern family who lived with a lot of material committed suicide a few years ago, and celebrities who lived for fame or popularity committed suicide, and there is no more power. The president committed suicide.

This means that even if you have a lot of things, you have honor, and you have power, it is of no use if you do not have a right relationship with God.

Returning to the Word, today's text tells about how God, who is in charge of human affairs, protects and protects a certain person.

In the name of the Lord, I hope that it will be a time to experience the wonderful grace and work of God given to us through today's Word.

Go to Word>>

If so, how does God say he will protect us in today's text?

First, I want you to believe that God is the one who delivers us.

Looking at the first part of verse 14,

“God said, He loves me, and I will deliver him.”

You said.

God promises to deliver a man if he fully loves him.

This nailed it to the fact that if we want to experience God's work and grace, we must first love the Lord.

A person who drowns must be rescued by someone to survive.

Likewise, in order to receive God's deliverance from the trials, darkness, hardships and adversities that come from time to time, we must become saints who love the Lord.

Who is the God we love?

He is the one who created us, the one who sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to save us, and the one who adopted us and gave us the blessing of the kingdom of heaven.

So what does it mean to say that we love God?

During the song "I can do anything you like"

There is a song called

If we love God, there should be a confession like this verse, “I can do whatever God wants me to do.”

If this confession is truly among us, God will deliver such saints wherever they are.

But one more important thing is that love does not end with just confession.

Confession of love is supposed to be revealed as true love when confession and action coincide.

When our faith is confessed as love for God, God's work takes place.

“Rescue” in these words now means not only to glorify and exalt us, but also to prevent us from being in difficult situations again.

God delivers us from sin, from death, from sickness, failure, poverty, and from the hordes of evil.

According to Isaiah 38:17,

“Behold, it is that you may give me peace, that you have added great pain to me. Because you love my soul, you have delivered it from the pit of destruction, and you have cast all my sins behind your back.”

I earnestly pray that the wonderful grace of God who rescues us from the pit of death and the pit of destruction in our lives today will be with me and the saints.

Second, God exalts us.

Looking at the second half of verse 14,

“If he knows my name, I will exalt him”

I am saying

“Knowing” in this verse does not simply mean the state of being acquainted.

As Jesus said, “He eats with me, and I eat with him,” as Jesus said, “I know when I eat with him.”

The Word is the food of the spirit, prayer is the breath, fellowship, and fellowship.

And the Holy Spirit is the power and the channel through which we can know God.

However, people live in the hope of exalting themselves.

That is why we aspire to be elevated in all fields, including status, honor, wealth, ability, character, and faith.

We also explore several ways to achieve it.

However, we as saints must remember that all these things are done by God, not by humans.

According to 1 Samuel 2:7,

“The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he humbles and exalts.”

No matter how hard we try to be exalted, all the keys are not our will because God is in their hands.

In the Gospel, “the story of a rich man” appears.

He is a rich farmer, and one year he had a wonderful harvest.

Then he builds a warehouse and invites many people to eat, drink, and play.

But that night, God appeared to the rich man and said,

“Rich, if I take your life tonight, whose will all these belong?”

He thought he had accomplished something by working hard, but he didn't.

Because we don't know what kind of person God is, we try to live our lives as we want.

In the midst of this, God speaks to us.

“If he knows me, I will exalt him”

God wants us as saints to know Himself rightly.

That is why He wants us to discern and practice God's will through the Bible.

Therefore, knowing God must start from the Bible.

Through the process of reading, listening, memorizing, meditating, and preaching, you will encounter the vast God, which will soon fulfill the word 'I will exalt myself'.

In the name of the Lord, I ask that you become believers who experience God who wants us to know God rightly and exalt us today.

Third, God is the one who answers us.

Look at verse 15 of the text.

“He will plead with me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, and I will deliver him and glorify him.”

No matter how much we call on the name of the Lord, can we be sure of the God who does not answer?

Have you ever wondered why God doesn't answer because we don't hear God's answer?

However, in today's text, there is a word that explains the reason why there is no answer from God, which is “supplication.”

The word “supplication” means to pray with all your might.

If we have never prayed before in our life of faith, we should pray about the matter at this time.

Why?

Because God has promised, "I will answer" to those who ask.

In the Gospels, when the disciples went to each village and tried to perform miracles, but failed and came back discouraged, Jesus showed the importance and power of prayer by saying, "There is no way out of this kind except through prayer."

When faced with the limits of human and worldly abilities and methods, people are easily frustrated.

But today's text declares very clearly, "He will call upon me, and I will answer."

In Psalm 86:7 we read,

“I will cry out to you in the day of my trouble, and you will answer me.”

is saying,

In Jeremiah 33:3,

“Call to me, and I will answer you, and I will show you great and mighty things that you do not know.”

is promising.

In the name of the Lord, I ask that today will be a precious time for us to listen to God's voice through prayer.

At the end of the speech>>

Organize your words.

God spoke the word of the covenant to save us through today's text.

The grace of God who saves us can be found in the way He rescues us, lifts us up, and answers us.

Through today's life, God's amazing grace, which rescues us from the difficult and difficult problems of life, exalts us to show God's glory, and answers our prayers, makes our faith more beautiful. We earnestly pray in the name of the Lord that all of our members will be with you.
