Title: The Providence of Salvation/ Ephesians 1:4
Content The providence of salvation / Ephesians 1:4, Gal 1:15
Key Verse: “He chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love” (Ephesians 1:4).
Word: The Bible records that if we believe in Jesus, we will be saved. “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household” (Acts 16:31). But if you look closely at the Bible, it says, “Faith is not everyone’s” (2 Thessalonians 3:2). He told them to work hard to enter through the narrow gate, and he said that there are many who cannot enter even if they try hard. “Test yourselves, whether ye are in the faith, prove yourselves” (2 Corinthians 13:5).
After meeting Jesus in Damascus, the apostle Paul really realized that Jesus was the Son of God. From then on, I went up to the third heaven by praying on the Arabian Mountains for 3 years in expectation of Jesus. After going to heaven, he confessed, “He chose me from my mother’s womb” (Galatians 1:15) and “He chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world” (Ephesians 1:4). I met God in Damascus, but when I went to heaven, the work of God was already from before the foundation of the world and from the womb of my mother. It just means that Damascus only responded.
Jesus said, “You did not choose me, but I chose you” (John 15:16) and “All that the Father gives me will come to me” (John 6:37). “The Father who sent me No one can come to me unless I draw him” (John 6:44).
He said that those who have not been called by God, who do not acknowledge God, will never believe in Jesus. He also says, “Whoever hears my word and believes in him who sent me has eternal life and will not come into judgment, but has crossed over from death to life” (John 5:24).
In Acts 13:48, it says, “All who were ordained to eternal life believed.” Some of the millions believed in Jesus, but they were determined to give them eternal life. No one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. Even if it seems that you believe in Jesus by human strength, the Holy Spirit moves you to realize it, so you will know and feel it. By the grace of God, everything is believed. Even if God has chosen and predestined it, God's predestination will be clothed only if I put in effort and effort. When you realize God's love, you have no choice but to believe hard. If you believe hard, you can realize God's love and predestination. I believe that when we obey and evangelize diligently, God's great will will be accomplished, and the thrill and grace of salvation will overflow.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for choosing us and thank you for having eternal life. Now, believe in the Lord more diligently, do your best to serve, do your best to evangelize, and work hard for the expansion of the kingdom of heaven. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
