Title: The real beauty

Contents

real cool

(2006.11.05. Week) (1 Kings 3:23-28)

Occasionally, once in a while, in the news - a technician from a company sells his company's technology to a foreign country - and gets caught trying to go abroad - then everyone becomes a patriot and criticizes and gets angry with such a person.

Would it have been possible if the engineer had been the owner of the company? Even if it wasn't the owner, would it have been possible if it had been a real employee who truly loved the company? - Even if that person receives a salary from the company - It must have been because he is not the owner of the company, nor is he a true employee who loves the company.

Why does the espionage case that adorn the front page of newspapers happen again these days? - The investigation isn't over yet, so are you a spy? I don't know if he's not - but it's clear that he's caused a lot of damage to the country - can he be called a real patriot because he was active in a political party in Korea and worked as an employee in a government agency?

Even if I live on South Korean soil and receive a salary from a South Korean government agency - my heart did not love the Republic of Korea - I rather worked for North Korea - Do I need to treat such a person as a citizen?

If you were a real citizen, you would not have sold your country to earn your own profit.

Fakes can be lurking everywhere. However, there must be a real one everywhere.

No matter how many fakes there are - if there is a real thing in them, the beauty of the real thing will shine.

*We are not spies or spies - we become people who pride themselves on being truly patriotic Korean citizens.

* We pray that you will become believers who confidently say that they are true members of the church.

1. You must be a real shepherd.

In the New Testament, it is recorded that there are several types of people who enter the ranch.

Everyone reassures the sheep by saying, “I am the shepherd,” but it is recorded that there are real shepherds and there are fake shepherds.

*The thief also comes in pretending to be a shepherd - they reassure the sheep and, when the opportunity arises, lead the sheep and devour and devour them.

*Wagemen also pretend to be shepherds - The hired men are not thieves. At least I don't steal - but if the pay isn't enough, I'm out. If other places offer higher wages, go there. Even if the work is too difficult, he leaves without regret. When wild beasts attack, they abandon their sheep and run away to save their own life - that's a wager.

*Real shepherds are different - I love real shepherds because they are their sheep, even if their income is small. They sniff at other sheep and are not greedy. Even if their sheep get sick, they cannot easily throw them away. No matter how ferocious a beast enters, he fights with his life to drive out the beast and protect his sheep.

No matter how much a thief comes in pretending to be a shepherd, it doesn't take long for the thief to reveal his true nature.

No matter how much a laborer pretends to be a shepherd, if the conditions change, his heart and behavior change.

But the real shepherd - timeless. It does not change even if the conditions change. I love healthy sheep, but I don't throw away sick sheep, I feel more sorry for them and work hard to save them.

*Because Jesus is the real shepherd - he saved us, his sheep, even by sacrificing his life on the cross.

2. You must be the real owner.

Peppers for flowers and eggplants for flowers have been planted in the flower bed of our church - everyone who passes by sees it as a strange look. - When they are ripe, you can pick them one by one and plant them next year. - But I picked all the unripe ones and there are only a few left - I am the owner, so I don't pick the unripe ones. No one took it because you are the owner too. - However, passers-by are not the owner, so they pick things that cannot be used as seeds before they ripen.

That is the difference between a master and a stranger.

*About 5,000 people gathered in the wilderness of Bethsaida with Jesus. - Seeing that there was nothing to eat even when the time came, Jesus took 5 bottles and 2 fish, gave thanks and gave food to the crowd.

Everyone in the group ate and had leftovers - that was then.

The ignorant crowd ate deliciously when they ate - but no one wanted to wash the dishes after they were done.

But what about Jesus? - He tells them not to throw away any leftovers from what they ate, but to gather them all.

3. Be real parents.

If you look at today's text in the Bible, you can see the difference between real mothers and fake mothers.

Two women lived in the same house, and the two women had children three days apart.

Then, a woman was sleeping because she had a bad sleeping habit, and stopped pressing her child to death.

And quickly changed the child. - After the day has passed, the two women claim that the living child is their own - She is the mother of the living child - The fight is not resolved - they appeal to King Solomon.

King Solomon solves the problem really wisely.

*Let's listen to the fake mother's answer - "Let it be mine, not yours, let it be shared" - This is what the fake mother says.

*Real mothers are different - “I felt like my heart was on fire for her son, so I called out to the king and said, “Please, my lord, give me the living son and please do not kill me.” - This is the mother's heart. - My son is about to die. - My heart seems to be on fire. It breaks my heart. If I could save my son, I would give up listening to my mother. Please don't kill me because I'm going to lose - this is a real mother's answer, her heart

A fake flower, no matter how beautiful it is made - can't get a single drop of honey.

But the real flower, although in full bloom, has honey in it, and leaves seeds after it withers.

The fake shepherd - eats the sheep, abandons the sheep, and seeks only his own interests - the real shepherd serves the sheep

Not the owner - the traveler - doesn't care whether to throw it away or not to step on it - the real owner values even the crumbs

Fake parents seek their own profit whether the child dies or not - real parents save their children even if they lose.

Who are you?

4. I believe that you are a real saint.

* I want to believe that you are also real saints, real members of Kyungil Church.

As fakes seek their own interests, but the real ones do for their children - I believe that you are believers who put the glory of God first and the interests of the church first.

Just as we are proud that we are real saints and members of the real Kyungil Church until now - I will live as saints forever and be embraced by God. I believe that God will bless us when we have a heart that we will love each other as members of Kyungil Church forever.

*The fake mother tried to take possession of the child by any means, but only received severe rebuke.

*On the other hand, the real mother - giving up everything - trying to save only her children - the king wisely judged - returned her nearly lost son to her arms. They lived happily with their son in their arms.

*A thief who eats sheep and fills his stomach, a wage earner who turns away from the sheep and runs away, a stranger who says it's enough to call his own boat, a fake mother who tells me whether to kill or live because it's not my child - they are not true personalities.

* A shepherd who risks his life for the sheep and fights against wild beasts, a Jesus-like owner who cares for even a single piece of debris, and a mother who takes care of her children even when I lose money.

*For the sake of the Lord, for the church, for the sake of true faith - things that seemed a little loss temporarily - I believe that God will fill you with abundant blessings.

If you want to live as a true saint - you may face persecution. There are times when you have to give up the pleasures of the world. Sometimes friends of the world leave. You may not be able to go where you want to go. You have to give up sweet naps on the week you want to sleep. - There are many times when you have to lose money on the little things in front of you.

However, just like a real mother gave a real blessing - I believe that a good God, God who knows everything, will fill us with real good blessings as real saints - I wish you all the blessings of the saints.
