Title: The Realities of Forty-four Thousands
Revelation (60) The reality of 144,000 people (Rev 14:1-5)
1. Those whose names are written in the book of life
2. People overflowing with praise and thanksgiving
3. The chaste who did not follow the harlot
In order to become a chaste saint who can protect himself from harlots (verse 4), we must avoid image faith or event faith that emphasizes external and visible things. Faith to believe when there is little to be seen is the true faith that God accepts. When I see groups that advertise that they will be included in the 144,000 people in the last days only if they join their own group, they seek outward blessings or miracles too much. But the Lord said that an evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign. It means, paradoxically, to have a word-centered faith.
4. Those who follow the Lord's guidance
Those of the one hundred and forty-four thousand follow the Lord wherever He leads them (v. 4). If you follow a person, you will undoubtedly be disappointed and have difficulties. How calculating a human being, would you just open the way? On the other hand, if you only look to the Lord and move forward, there is no fear of failure in a big frame. A believer should not belong to a strange group or go to a strange meeting just to live for himself, but to obey the most precious thing in obedience life, “If we die, we die!” When you are determined to die, the way to truly live opens up.
5. The Firstfruits Belonging to God and the Lord
To say that the firstfruits belonged to God and the Lamb (verse 4) means that God and the Lamb absolutely protect them. The first fruits are what God wants to receive the most, and what God is most pleased with. There are typical aspects of life that appear when we become the first fruits of God. It is the appearance of giving anything good to God first. In that sense, early morning prayer for the first hour of the day, offering the first fruits of income, and putting God first in the realm of one's life and heart are typical aspects of life for the 144,000 distinguished saints. is.
6. Those who do not lie and are blameless
They belonged to the 144,000, who did not tell lies and were blameless, especially in their words (verse 5). In Shincheonji, it is said that only their own members belonged to the 144,000, but in reality, they are probably the least of the 144,000. Because there are too many lies in the mouths of their leaders or followers. Faith is 'the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen', not 'considering lies with positive thinking'.
