Title: The Remnant of the Body
Contents
Since God is the source of life, all life in the world comes from God.
Therefore, life with God is eternal, but life without God is not eternal.
Because God revealed His eternal life to this earth through Jesus, Jesus rose from the dead and became eternal life to those who believe in God.
So, those who receive Jesus who came into the world as their Savior and believe in Him will ultimately have the life of God.
God is gracious to give eternal life to all who call on the name of Jesus.
God is the one who not only gives eternal life to those who are born again in the name of Jesus, but also gives the kingdom of heaven as an inheritance after sealing and guaranteeing their hearts with the Holy Spirit.
▣ So, what does faith mean to the saints?
Longing for God's life, obeying His Word, and having fellowship with God through worship.
Jesus Christ, whom God sent into the world, is the wisdom of God,
It is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1:24-25)
God's judgment was that he knew that mankind could not live forever without Jesus.
God knew that without Jesus, neither life nor property could be guaranteed, and even in tribulation, the world could not be perfect.
All things are in vain if we do not receive from God the power to overcome the various tribulations and hardships of life that come with ignoring the lives of people who are more precious than the world, which we value the most.
▣ God's sent Jesus into the world is God's most precious gift to prepare for the rest of man's time. For those who have a son, God is with him, and he makes that person whole.
Jesus, who came to the world as the Savior, reveals the cause of the storms that occur in the sea, the causes of various diseases and poverty that afflict the human body, and the power and authority of the evil spirit that works viciously with an invisible personality so that people can escape. you have opened
The wisdom and science of the world acknowledge only the physical natural conditions, denying the powerful power that works invisibly, but God through His Son also the visible natural conditions.
He revealed to the world all the spirits, objects, and spaces that exist invisible but exist.
▣ Jesus, the Son of God, who came into nature as the law of supernatural
He says that those who prepare the times of the flesh before the Lord are the ones who love their soul the most and the wisest in the world.
▶ Every human being is born with permission from the Creator for the time of the flesh.
▶ Human beings are fragile beings that come when the Creator tells them to come, and they have no choice but to go even if they hate it when they say go.
Some people are born and live in the world with permission from the Creator for a long time, while others spend only a short time in the world and end their life.
Time spent by man passes like a twilight in the night in God's eyes. The Bible says that those who spend time and time only fulfilling their own fleshly desires are the most foolish and pitiful people in the world.
(Psalm 90:4- “A thousand years are a watch in the night in the sight of the Lord.”)
▣ How much time do you think your body has left for you?
Don't you believe that the long and the short are in the hands of the Creator God?
▣ Don't you really feel that the years we use go by quickly?
▣ Job speaks of these fast years
Job 7:2- “The servant longs for the evening shade, and the laborer waits for his wages. I confess.
▣ In verse 7, the apostle Peter
“The end of all things is near; therefore, be sober and sober, and pray.” is also to decide how to live the rest of the body.
The rest of our time in the flesh is to understand God's will and obey it.
If we try to live the time given to us according to God's will, the first thing to do is, like Daniel, “set a will and live.” you will have to go
Most people live only for the lust of the flesh and the eyes in order to fulfill their greed, thinking that they will live for a thousand or ten thousand years even though the remaining time of their lives is getting shorter.
Just as life doesn't start out the way you want it to, it doesn't end the way you want it to.
▣ We are just runners who jump over the “relay course and obstacles” that God has set for us.
Today, as the text says, we are going to take time to think about how we should live the “remaining time of the flesh”.
1. We must live the rest of our body by faith.
Verse 7 - “Be sober and sober, and pray.” is the word to live with right faith.
▣ What are you praying for?
As in verses 3-4, those who do not pray have no choice but to live a life that is opposite to God's will, but those who pray with their minds up can follow God's will and live the rest of their body.
Even among God's people, there are many saints who lose their faith and lose their faith because they miss the time of prayer because they focus on the things of the flesh.
In the Bible, there are those who lost their inspiration for God because they turned to worldly things to fulfill the desires of the flesh, and those who persevered in faith for the rest of their bodies.
▣ Esau easily sold his birthright for a bowl of red bean soup to satisfy his body's lust.
So his descendants were pushed out of God's blessing from generation to generation and became a cursed nation.
▣ Judas Iscariot sold Jesus, his teacher, the Messiah, the Son of God, for 30 pieces of silver.
Even today's believers sell their faith and conscience for money, and how many people lose the taste and taste of saints in order to fulfill the lusts of the flesh?
▣ In order to keep faith in his own time, Joseph overcame the lusts of the flesh when he was young, and he proudly kept his faith in the face of material temptations.
▣ Although Daniel was thrown into the lions' den, he did not lose his faith and came to his senses.
▣ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did not lose their faith even though they were thrown into the furnace that was heated seven times as hot.
2 Timothy 3:5- “In the last days, sin will prevail in the world, and everyone will be corrupted in spirit and chase after the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, and have the appearance of godliness, but no power.” said to go
When we do not keep our faith because we cannot keep our minds and pray for the rest of our body, we do not know when we ourselves will fall into the abyss of sin. I wish you the best of luck both physically and spiritually.
2. We must live the rest of our body passionately practicing love.
Verse 8 - “Above all, love one another passionately, for love covers a multitude of sins.” said.
▶ If worship and prayer are to perfect our vertical relationship with God,
▶ It is love that horizontally establishes a perfect relationship with God.
The time in a person's life when he has pure feelings as a person is probably a moment of love.
Because love is what a person does as a human being, love for family, saints, and love for neighbor are not something that anyone can practice, but only those who truly love themselves.
The time allotted to us is not enough to love each other, but would it be possible to live with jealousy and jealousy among family members, same-timers, members of the church, and neighbors?
Would you love to live?
▣ Peter says that the second most rewarding way to spend the rest of the body is love.
Love that is fervently practiced in the Lord never reveals the other's faults and weaknesses.
Now, God's great love covers all our faults, so just as our sins and evil are invisible to God's eyes, if we love passionately, we must not see the faults and weaknesses of others.
The church is not a gathering of the righteous, but a place where sinners with many faults and weaknesses gather to cover, cover, and forgive each other's faults and weaknesses with God's love.
Please give glory to God as we fervently love one another in the Lord for the rest of our time.
3. We must be faithful as good stewards for the remainder of our body.
We have the gift to serve and be loyal to the glory of God.
Since a steward is a servant and faithful only according to the will of the master, his own assertion and thoughts must not exceed the will of the master, and he must obey or obey the will of the master unconditionally.
} Since God has given “offices” to His people who have been regenerated in order to give them the blessings He gives them in this life and in the life to come, offices are opportunities to receive rewards and blessings.
After we use up our time in the flesh, whether we like it or not, we have to be judged by our actions before God's judgment seat, regardless of our will. You will have to live wisely as an office worker.
▣ Apostle Paul
Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” said.
After transforming his life from a steward of the law to a steward of God, Paul nailed his past to the cross and lives thoroughly as a servant of God.
The task of the law is condemnation.
▣ There are many hardships in the life of a steward, but believe that the crown of life is at the end of those hardships, and I hope you will become faithful officers.
▣ Dear saints!
Now, how are you going to live the rest of your body?
Do you want to live faithfully to the instincts of your body?
Or do you want to be true to your soul's instincts?
God works according to our choices, so if we spend the “remaining time of the flesh” for the flesh, God will prepare things for corruption, and if we live for the spirit, He will prepare things for incorruption.
I pray that all of us will use our mission as holy stewards wisely while practicing love in faith by being mindful and praying for the rest of our bodies in order to receive the crown of life that God will give us.
