Title: The Restoring God/John 21:1-14
Content The Restoring God / John 21:1-14
Things went quickly. Although they arrived in Jerusalem with great anticipation, what the disciples experienced in Jerusalem was completely unexpected. Jesus was arrested and suddenly crucified. This was happening so quickly that the disciples were just bewildered.
The disciples, who seemed to be able to gain everything, lost everything in an instant. The vanity of losing Jesus, the vanity of a frustrated dream. I was filled with feelings of guilt for not keeping Jesus and anxiety about the future, not knowing what to do with my life.
Still, there was an expectation of Jesus on one side. Because there were people who met the resurrected Jesus.
They were caught between the expectation of the resurrected Jesus and the sense of loss. I was caught in an awkward situation. It's an awkward state where you can't give up, and you can't help but give up.
The resurrected Jesus came to them and restored them. The resurrected Jesus came among them and did the work for a new beginning.
First, he came to them while they were fishing in the Sea of Galilee and was watching them. Of course, they did not know that Jesus had come to them and was watching them. But Jesus came to them and looked at them with affectionate eyes.
Second, he spoke to them. He told them to cast their nets on the right side of the boat.
Third, Jesus himself prepared a table for them. He restored their relationship with Jesus through the meal. You have restored the relationship so that you can have a new beginning. By meeting the resurrected Jesus and having a meal, He restored a close relationship with Him.
