Title: The Resurrected Jesus is Coming
The resurrected Jesus is coming again. (John 14:1-4)
Jesus, who came to this earth to take the place of mankind's sins, was nailed to the cross and died according to the prophecy of the Bible. And, according to the prophecy of the Bible, He rose from the dead on the third day. The resurrection of Jesus is a historical event. (1) The angel testified of the resurrection to Mary and Mary Magdalene who went to find the body of Jesus. (Luke 24:5) (2) The empty tomb testifies of the resurrection of Jesus. (3) The evidence of the resurrection is that Thomas, who had doubts, touched the Lord's side with his own hands and confessed his faith. (John 20:24-29) (4) He was on this earth for 40 days after the resurrection and the disciples It is evidence of the resurrection that he appeared to God, sometimes in front of 500 saints. (1 Corinthians 15:5-9) The resurrection of Jesus is the victory over the power of death and the power of Satan. (1 Corinthians 15:51-58) The resurrection of Jesus is He became the firstfruits of the resurrection of all believers (1 Corinthians 15:20-22).
Why is Jesus' resurrection so important? This is because Jesus won the battle with the devil. Because in the battle between good and evil, good triumphs over evil. Because truth is the victory over lies. Because love is the victory over hate. Because life is the victory over death. Above all else, the reason why the resurrection of Jesus is precious is because the resurrection of Jesus means my resurrection. But why do people not believe in the resurrection of Jesus? There is no power in man to believe in the resurrection. It is not believed by human will. We must touch us so that the Holy Spirit can believe (Luke 24:32). Only with the help of the Holy Spirit, we believe. Therefore, those who believe in the resurrection are blessed. Let's shout to the world that Jesus is risen!
In John 14:2-3, Jesus promised that He would come soon when a place was prepared, and now is that time. While Jesus was on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him and asked, “What is the sign of the end of the world?” When Jesus asked, 1) a false Christ will appear and deceive many (Matthew 24:5) 2) Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom (verse 7) 3) There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All things are the beginning of calamity (verse 8) ④ You will be hated by all nations because of my name (verse 9) ⑤ Because iniquity will increase, the love of many will grow cold (verse 12). All the signs in this world are telling us that the time of Jesus' coming is near (even the sinking of the Sewol ferry...)
Just as there are “those who will be saved and those who will not be saved” in this world, there are “saints who will be resurrected and those who will not be resurrected” in the church. Who will be saved, and who will be resurrected? Those who look to the cross of Jesus and live happily and loving each other always, those who hold fast to the faith of the resurrection and prepare for that day will be resurrected. Those who live as witnesses of the resurrection in time or out of time are those who will be resurrected on the day the Lord comes again. I pray in the name of the Lord that you and I will live with this faith and faith. We also share in the resurrection, but the glory is different. I pray that you will participate in salvation like the glorious sun, moon, and stars (1 Corinthians 15:40-41).
