Title: The Resurrected Youth

Bible: Luke 7:11-17

Starting Point of the Word>>

Recently, it has been reported that more than 100,000 young people are either taking their own lives or falling into addiction due to drug abuse due to instability in academic performance, appearance, friendship, and work due to long-term economic depression and self-identity. There is.

However, in today's text, the miraculous event of Jesus raising a dead young man back to life is recorded.

This young man was the only hope of a lonely widow mother without a husband, the only son whose death must have been a literal despair for the widow mother.

But in the midst of such despair, Jesus was with us, and for a moment the march of despair stopped and changed to the march of resurrection.

What are you saying?

Jesus raised this young man back to life and made him stand up again.

Many believers today lose the will to live and lose the purpose that God created them for.

If you meet Jesus at such a time, you can come back to life and there is a wonderful grace that allows you to stand up again.

In the name of the Lord, I hope that the amazing grace of the Lord, who saves and raises us up at this time today, will appear in this place as a full work.

Go to Word>>

Then, what kind of image of Jesus can save us and raise us up today?

First, it is the love of the Lord.

If it is hate that kills people, it is love that saves people.

The Lord taught that hating a brother is murder.

There is humor in this story.

An elderly grandfather raised his hand alone.

So the pastor asked again, “No, did you really hate anyone?” He replied, “No, there were many, but they all died.”

The moral of this humor is precisely what he meant to say that this grandfather killed his neighbor out of hatred.

But we must not forget that there is one lesson that this humor fails to convey and overlooks.

Hatred kills not only the neighbor, but also the self.

In the meantime, many people have destroyed themselves and their neighbors with hatred.

But love has the power to save oneself and one's neighbor.

In today's text, Jesus raised a young man from the dead.

If we look at verse 13,

“When the Lord saw the widow, he had compassion on her,” he said.

In other words, when Jesus looked at the widow, he saw the woman with the eyes of love and compassion.

What can revive our dying saints today?

And what can save our families, our children and our neighbors?

It is only the love of the Lord.

That love is the only hope and the only salvation.

We need the love of the cross, the love of agape that transcends human limitations.

In other words, the love that gave Himself to the cross for us while we were still sinners is the answer.

That is why we must spread this love and make this love known.

It happened in America in the 1960s.

At that time, young Americans were a generation of hippies who were dying of nihilism, but suddenly there was a spiritual revival that none of them had ever had.

When they heard the gospel and experienced God's love, they began to live.

So they added new lyrics to the guitar accompaniment that used to sing about the futility of life, and started singing these songs on the streets where people gathered.

“Just as a small flame makes a big fire and soon melts the people around you, once you experience the love of the Lord like this, I want to convey His love to everyone--When the buds sprout, the birds chirping, the flowers bloom, and it is a sunny spring day. Once I experience the love of the Lord like this, I want to convey the freshness of spring.”

The love of Jesus that awakened America at that time became a great fire.

In the name of the Lord, I ask that all of our saints become the fire of love like this at this time today, and that the practice of love that saves many souls will be added in the name of the Lord.

Second, it is the word of the Lord.

According to the text, it was the moment the Lord spoke to this young man that decidedly this young man arose.

If we look at the words of verse 14,

“Jesus said to him, Young man, I say to you, get up.”

That said, the dead have risen.

In other words, the word of the Lord brought this young man back to life.

It was not a simple sermon or a moral homily, the Word was the prescription and the Word was the answer.

Perhaps some people are saying that because of what the word is? There will be people who will object to you.

However, the Bible teaches that God created all things with these words, and through these words He recreates a sinner's life anew.

From John 5:25

“Truly, truly, I say to you, the hour is coming and is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.”

said Jesus.

In other words, he proclaimed that these words will save life.

What we need to pay attention to is that in John 11, when Jesus said to Lazarus, who was a dead old man, “Come out, Lazarus,” Lazarus opened the tomb and came out.

And in today's text, "Young man, I say to you, get up" and the dead young man came to life.

And in Mark 5, when the young daughter of Jairus, the ruler of the synagogue, died, Jesus said to her, “Talidagum, get up, little girl,” and the girl also got up.

I believe that the resurrection of the spiritually dead is more than a bodily resurrection and is a miracle.

Therefore, it is not important to live with the problems of the world, but it is important to live again through the Word.

As the saying goes, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by the word of God,” the word of the Lord must be communicated to the youth of this earth and our children in order to live.

Third, it is the hand of the Lord.

In verse 14, Jesus says, “When he came near, he touched the coffin.”

There were two things that Jews of that time should never touch, one was a leper and the other was a corpse.

And one of the rabbi's responsibilities, the Jewish leader at the time, was to isolate these two things from touching them.

However, as a Jewish rabbi, Jesus broke these two rules and touched them.

He touched the lepers, and now the coffins of the dead.

Then the leper was cleansed, and the dead received new life and rose again.

That's right.

The touch of the Lord's hand was a miracle.

This miracle of touch was the miracle of love.

Because love is touch.

Humans experience love through contact with their mother from the moment they cry for the first time in their life.

When this contact is lacking, human emotional growth becomes extremely unstable.

Likewise, this hand of Jesus is the hope of life and salvation.

And he is the hope of our children and young people who are dying in this age.

So when you can't do anything for your children, say, "Lord, I can't do anything.

Why don't you pray, "Please hold me in your hand."

And instead of trying to teach your children with words, why don't you hug your children and pray, "Lord, hold me like this"?

I pray that the same miraculous hand of the Lord be with us, our children, and the youth of the earth.

Because we believe that when the Lord touches us, we will rise again, our children will rise again, and the youth of this earth will rise.

At the end of the speech>>

conclude the word.

Everyone! We do not live in a time when miracles are over.

Miracles happen today.

Therefore, in order to experience the grace of helping in the times of the Lord, who has not changed yesterday and today, do not hide or hide your difficulties, but show them to the Lord as they are and sincerely ask Him, trusting in the Word of the Lord who created the universe. , I hope that all the saints who are expecting the loving touch of the Lord will become.
