Contents
It is Easter when Jesus Christ took on the burden of my sins and suffered terrible suffering and death and was resurrected.
The death of Jesus My death, the resurrection of Jesus My resurrection! ! !
We pray that Easter will be resounding with these confessions to all members of our Sinchon Church.
Christ's Resurrection
(Romans 5:12-19)
Hallelujah! Our Lord Jesus overcame the power of death and rose again. I hope you all live by the life of the resurrection.(…) The resurrection of Jesus is about sown in perishability, raised in immortality, sown in dishonor, raised in glory, sown in weakness, and raised in strength. If you rise again, you will never die again.(…) In today's text, we see the importance of one person. In today's text, we are talking about the role of each person. It tells what happens when one person does something wrong, and what happens when one person does well.
① Sin and death came because of one man.
(…) The Bible says that sin entered the world through the disobedience of the first man, Adam. So the order of creation is broken, punished, and judged. The sin of one man, Adam, never ends with one man. That one person's sin eventually extends to everyone. You know the Black Death that spread to Europe in the Middle Ages. A single-person epidemic has finally left all of Europe a land of death. One is important. While numerically insignificant, the results are huge. There are people who live carelessly, saying, “If one of me dies, it’s over.” Because of that one person, many people suffer. The sin of me alone makes many people sad and painful. The Bible says that death came into the world through one man, Adam.
② Because of one man's righteousness, all have life.
Verse 18 says, “For as by one man’s sin all were condemned, so also by one man Jesus’ works of righteousness men were brought to life.” Also, in verse 19, it says that through one man's disobedience many became sinners, but through the obedience of one man, Jesus, all mankind was saved (…) I lost. It is the grace brought by the suffering of Jesus, and it is the result of the cross of sacrifice. One person is so important. Humanity came to stand before God's judgment, but reconciliation with God was accomplished through one man's righteousness.(…)
③ Through the resurrection of one person, the glory of the resurrection has come to all people.
(…) Jesus became the firstfruits of the resurrection. And the Lord has opened the way for us to be resurrected by his resurrection. If we do not have a resurrection, as Paul said, we would be the poorest people in the world. Gentiles who do not believe in Jesus do not believe in the resurrection, so they live according to their own desires. But Christians believe in the resurrection and live with love, sharing, giving, and devotion. If the results of the believer and the unbeliever are the same, the believer's life will be a foolish and pitiful life. A mayfly cannot understand tomorrow, and a year-old flower cannot promise the next year. Likewise, man cannot comprehend God's eternal providence. Only through the resurrection life can we understand God’s eternal order.(…)
The ultimate goal of man is heaven. Eternal life. Resurrection faith is necessary. Among the blessings God has given, the blessing of resurrection life is the most precious. This blessing begins when I hope for the resurrection of one man, Christ. The cross of Christ takes away sin, and the resurrection completes salvation. The resurrection of Christ is the greatest grace and blessing that God has given to this earth. Amen
