rich man's prayer
Jeongdongjin Hourglass Park. The soft-grained sand flows continuously throughout the year.
Life is like the sand in an hourglass, it's a constant flow. Then one day, like the last grain of sand, the last day of my life will come. I think about how I should live my life as I live a life that is never this long. - From Jim Stoval's "Inheriting the Best Inheritance" -
* The time of each day is a gift from heaven, but you are the owner of the day.
A fleeting day, or a happy and happy day, is the result of one's time management, and the responsibility is also on them.
How should I live my life?
Today's text is a parable of Jesus.
A single rich man wore purple clothes every day and lived in contact with each other every day.
In front of the house, a beggar named Lazarus was ill with boils and was lying on the floor, comforting him with a tile. Those two died.
The rich man fell into torment in Hades, and Lazarus died and was taken up by the angels into Abraham's bosom.
1> The rich have no name.
Purple clothes are the clothes worn by kings and royalty. rich man with power and wealth but no name
In the world, he seems to have done everything, but he has lived a life that is not worthy of even calling his name before God.
532 - Did the Lord write my name in the Lamb's book of life before the throne?
Mayor Park Seong-gyu - Let's give thanks for having your name written in the book of life in the kingdom of God through hardship
Revelation 20:15 - Whosoever was not written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
2> Whether rich or beggar Lazarus cannot escape death.
Death is what humans fear the most. Living the death row inmates who die every morning is not living.
live in fear of death Whether rich or beggar Lazarus, God has prepared death for mankind.
Humans living in the face of death are first> fair. Second, I don't know the time. Third, it cannot be avoided. <No authority nor wealth is useless.>
3> After death, human beings must be judged.
Heaven and Hell are places created by God. Regardless of the human will, it goes without saying.
However, there are people who go to heaven while singing the song of hope like the saved prisoners, and there are people who go to hell with fear.
Today's text is about two prayers that a rich man who went to hell prays to Abraham.
1> The dead are not all over.
Lessons from the rich dead
# You can't see hell in heaven, but you see heaven in hell. <I saw the beggar Lazarus in Abraham's arms.>
# The body is dead, but the feeling is also spiritual. Dip a drop of water on the tip of the shoot through Lazarus to cool my tongue.
# Heaven and Hell are places that cannot come and go. <There is a big hole between you and Lazarus, so you can't come and go.>
There are 3 types of people in the world.
1> A person who knows that there is neither heaven nor hell. <He is a fool.>
2> A person who does not know whether heaven or hell exists, but believes that there will be. <He is a wise man.>
3> A person who knows that heaven and hell exist and lives with conviction. <A man of faith.>
2> The rich man's prayer.
I have five brothers in my house who cannot be saved, and I pray for their salvation.
# Even the dead have wishes.
# People of unbelief do not believe even if they preach the gospel from the dead. <Because your heart is proud.>
# People of Unbelief It is a soul entrusted to those of faith who have been saved. <You must pray with endless patience and preach about Jesus.>
3> Let's know our mission.
Opportunities aren't always there. Let's not miss the opportunity. Leaving is out of order. Let's preach the gospel for our families.
Don't do evangelism for unbelieving families like your brother-in-law. <Sow seeds with tears.>
