Title: The Right Life of a Christian

The Apostle Paul is talking about what kind of life on earth the saints who have received the amazing grace of Jesus Christ should live.

1. Present your bodies as a living sacrifice pleasing to God

To offer your body as a living sacrifice is to know God's grace and live your life for the Lord. It is always running to the Lord when He needs you. Every effort and action must be for the Lord. Why should we present our bodies as living sacrifices to God? Because our bodies are the price of the blood of Christ, and our bodies are members of Christ. The Lord's hands and feet, a part of Christ. The church has become the house of God, the temple of the Holy Spirit, and the body of Jesus Christ.

2. We must not imitate this generation.

To not imitate this generation is not to live according to the world. It means not to live centered on the world, but rather live centered on God, the Bible, and the church. The world is not the goal of life, but faith is that the Bible should be the goal of our life. It is not to be in tune with the world.

3. He tells us to be transformed only by renewing our hearts.

The mind becomes the subject of the personality. First of all, a change of heart must occur. Those who have Jesus must change their thinking, change their lives, and change their plans. Christians must be transformed. We have been born again by the blood of Jesus Christ, so we must live by Jesus. Change should not be stopped. No one has changed at all. It has to keep changing. Of course, our identities have completely changed, but our lives are day by day. And it must change today.

4. We must discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

What is God's goodness? It is the goodness of God's fundamental disposition or action. What pleases God? A Christian should not put my joy first, but the Lord's joy first. If you put your joy first, you will never keep your faith, and you will never be able to please God. God is pleased when believers try to live by faith. God is pleased when believers lead a life of obedience. God is pleased when we repent of our sins and return. God is pleased with the living sacrifice. What is the perfect will of God? It has matured to the full size of Jesus Christ. What is the way to find the perfect will of God? It can be found through writing in the Bible, through prayer, through obedience, through spiritual gifts, and through conversation with godly people. The godly life of the saints, the righteous life, is a life in which we offer our bodies as living sacrifices to the perfect will of God.
