Title: The Righteous Man/Genesis 6:1-22
Content Title: The Righteous Person
Text: Genesis 6:1-22
Key Verse: (Genesis 6:9) These are the days of Noah: Noah was a righteous man and perfect in his time, and he walked with God.
In the old days, God's eyes looked around the world, looking for something to be thankful for in this place where sin was rampant, and he was disappointed, but he found one man, Noah. He has been shown to God through all the generations as one righteous man, who has found favor with God. It is just like Antipas, who lived in a place where Satan is in crisis, firmly held the name of God and became a faithful witness.
“(Rev 2:13) I know where you live, where Satan’s throne is, and you hold fast to my name and have faith in me even when Antipas, my faithful witness, is slain among you, in the dwelling place of Satan. did not forsake .”
“My soul, be faithful to God, even when you are alone.”
There are three characteristics of this man who has found favor in God's eyes.
1. He was a righteous man.
It is not that he is judged flawless in the light of eternal light, but that he has nothing to say when it comes to his conscience. He is forever clothed in a robe adorned with white flowers that is impeccable. He is pure in heart and has the power of one per ten (一堂十). He always maintains a conscience not to harm God or man. This state is possible only through the faith of those who have opened their hearts and accepted the life of God.
Since we too are saints who live by receiving the righteous Christ, will we not become righteous? Let Him dwell in us.
2. He was steadfast in front of others.
He did not look down on the ground with shame or wield it in search of some clever gain. He looked at the whole world. The wholeness and purity of the soul appeared in their eyes, and truth, sympathy, and love shone in their eyes. Although he received unusual criticism and ridicule from human beings, he did not give up his convictions and lived according to God's command.
Imagine walking down a lonely road without compromising with reality.
3. He lived in constant communion with God.
It is worth getting even at the expense of all our possessions. A life in full accord with God's heart, fully responding to His call, always in the presence of God, and never going where God is this is the true life. Although he had a lonely life and lost his carnal pleasures, he was able to enjoy the great joy of a higher life.
