Title: The righteous will live by their faith
Contents Every time you pray to God, you are waiting for an answer! Do you believe that the righteous who waits will live by that faith? Those who have no faith or are weak remain in disbelief or nervousness about God's answers and remain in anxiety. God saw Habakkuk's zeal. He climbed the ramparts and waited and waited to see what God would answer. His hopeful questions were always answered. Habakkuk chapter 2 records the principle of waiting for God's work of redemption and the reason for Babylon's destruction.
First, God's answer was “wait” (Hab 2:1-3).
Prophet Habakkuk embraced the message ??wait!?? with faith. He believed God, writing the message on the record board to wait, even if it was delayed. The wicked of the world must be... I was convinced that God's enemies would be punished.
Second, the righteous live by faith, and the upright are safe (Hab 2:4-20).
The Lord explained the ethnicity of the Babylonian Empire. They were a people who were dishonest, high in pride, and not satisfied with their lusts as wide as Hades. The Babylonian Empire also became a nation founded by blood. So the soul cries out that the kingdom they hold hostage is not eternal, and that it is not worthy to take advantage of iniquity... It was prophesied that the stones and beams of the wall would make a noise. And he emphasized that the people who build cities with blood and build walls with unrighteous methods will also suffer woe. He also prophesied that those who did not hide or acknowledge the glory of Jehovah would surely be put to shame. He proclaimed that those who were filled with wine, turned the cup, and dishonored the glory of God would be punished. Of particular note is the idol… To the idol maker... Whenever the crowds who believed in trees and stones cried out in confusion, the Lord God responded that he would punish them (Hab 2:18-19).
Dear saint! No matter what worldly circumstances may affect, only the righteous will live by faith. God lives and lives in the temple. Let us pray to the living God and wisely obey his supreme and bright will. Let us follow the guidance of enduring faith. Let's wait quietly for his response. -Amen-
