Title: Paul's Way

Contents:

The Apostle Paul is our model of faith.

Looking at the text, the apostle Paul has one thing that he earnestly wishes for. It is to preach Jesus Christ before the Roman emperor. On the way to Rome, he was arrested in Jerusalem and eventually sent to Rome as a prisoner on a rough road.

However, there were those who blocked Paul's path. Those who love Paul very much. They too were filled with the Holy Spirit, and when Agabus learned that Paul was arrested and handed over to the Gentiles, Agabus stopped them. However, Paul not only said that he should go for the name of Jesus even if he died in Jerusalem, but his co-workers could not stop him any longer and sent him away. Eventually, Paul was arrested and delivered in Jerusalem.

1. The road to Jerusalem

Everyone is leaving Jerusalem where there is persecution. But what Paul wanted to ascend so much was the path of the mission he received from the Lord Jesus. It is the road of bondage and tribulation. Because it was the way for the gospel.

2. The road to death

It is because we are filled with the Holy Spirit that we can go even though we can see bondage and death clearly before our eyes. That's not to say I jumped in blindly. But Paul was determined to die in order to save life. That is the death of Jesus.

3. Road to Rome

This is the way to proclaim our King of Kings before the Roman king who calls himself emperor. It is to spread the gospel to the world's largest city, so that Christ can be known throughout the world.

4. The way to follow the will of the Lord

It is the way to follow the Word.

It is the way to live according to the Holy Spirit.

Not with stubbornness. Even Paul fled when danger came.

Even Jesus avoided useless arguments and useless suffering. It is foolish for believers of our faith to claim or jump into suffering without any benefit of faith. However, because it was the Lord's will, Paul went to Jerusalem after many co-workers stopped him.

The way I live, the way I am going now, and where am I going?

Are you on your way to Jerusalem to fulfill your mission?

Is this the path you decide to die to save your life?

Are you on your way to Rome with a wonderful vision of life?

Is this the way God wills?
