Title: The road to being remembered forever
The Gospel of John (1) The way to be remembered for a long time
< Significance of the 4 Gospels >
The books that record the life and work of Jesus in the Bible are called “Gospels”. There are four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, each of which describes the character of Jesus differently.
The Gospel of Matthew describes Jesus as “the Messiah the Jews had been waiting for.” So the Gospel of Matthew begins like this in verse 1:1. “The world of Jesus Christ, the son of Abraham and David.” The Gospel begins with the genealogy that includes Abraham and David because the fact that Jesus came from the roots of Abraham and David is important for Jesus to become the Messiah the Jews had been waiting for.
The Gospel of Mark describes Jesus as “a servant who came to serve this earth.” Just as a servant does not have a genealogy, if Jesus came as a servant, he thought that he did not need a genealogy, so there is no genealogy in the Gospel of Mark and we go straight to the main point of the gospel activity. So the Gospel of Mark begins like this. “The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God” (Mark 1:1). In such a way, the introduction ends with just one line and describes Jesus' active work.
The Gospel of Luke describes Jesus as ‘the Son of Man (Son of Man) with men’. So, in the introduction part, the process of Jesus' birth as a human is depicted in detail, and the genealogy does not start with Abraham, the father of faith, but backwards, starting from the father Joseph, the first man, Adam, and going back to God who created Adam, and records the genealogy. do.
The Gospel of John describes Jesus as “the Son of God who saved mankind.” So, the Gospel begins with the ‘Word’ that was in the beginning. “In the beginning was the Word.” “Word” in this verse means Jesus. After all, “in the beginning was in the Word” implies that “there was no time or place without the Lord.” It means that the Lord is with you even now, and that He is with you even in the midst of suffering. Then do not despair under any circumstances.

Occasionally, there are flowers that bloom out of season. If you look at it, you can read the will to make flowers bloom, and you can feel the mystery of life. How long would you have waited for it to bloom like that? Still, it is so lovely to see the flowers blooming after waiting without losing hope. Be such lovely beings. Faith is “not to lose hope in the Lord.” If you do not lose hope in the Lord, your hope will one day come true, but if you leave the Lord's arms, you will only experience misery.
Why did Zacchaeus find a new life in his middle age? Because I met Jesus. When Jesus saw Zacchaeus climb a mulberry tree, he felt his emptiness and loneliness and wanted to comfort him. “Zacchaeus! Come down! I want to stay at your house today!” Then, when Zacchaeus accepted the Lord, the lonely soul became one of the most loved characters in the church. No matter how poor a soul is, if you serve the Lord, you will become a loved soul.
Look at Rudolph the deer. His nose was very shiny. It was so shiny that other deer laughed and teased me. Eventually poor Rudolph was left alone, said Santa on a misty Christmas day. “Hey Rudolph! Your nose is so shiny that I want to ride the sleigh you pull!” From then on, the deer loved Rudolph very much, and he was remembered for a long time. If you serve the Lord in this way, you will be loved and remembered by God and people for a long time.
