Title: The Saints Who Love the Lord
Contents Bible text: Song of Songs 2:8-17 Title: Saints who love the Lord
Song of Songs 2:8-17.
8 It is the voice of my beloved. Behold, he runs on the mountain.
You come quickly over a small mountain 9 My beloved is like a roe deer and a young deer
Standing behind our wall, looking through the windows, peeking through the slits 10 "My beloved spoke to me, saying, My love,
Get up, my pretty one, and let's go together." 11 The winter has passed, the rain has stopped, 12 The flowers have bloomed on the ground, and the time has come for the birds to sing.
The voice of doves is heard in our land. 13 "The fig tree has ripened green fruit, and the vine is
Flowers bloom and vomit out their fragrance, my love,
Rise up, my sweet child, and let's go together." 14 My dove in the clefts of the rocks, in the secret places of the cliffs.
Let me see your face, let me hear your voice
Your voice is soft, and your face is beautiful. 15 Catch for us foxes, the little foxes that destroy the vineyard
For our vineyard is in bloom. 16 My beloved is mine, and I am his.
He feeds the flock among the lilies, 17 My beloved, before the sun goes down and the shadows fade away.
When I return, I will be like a roe deer and a young deer on Mount Veder.
* All who love the Lord will listen to the lessons of the text,
I'll have to check myself out.
1. We must hear the voice of the Lord
David, who loved God, sings this in Psalm 19:10.
10 I will desire it more than gold, much fine gold, and sweeter than honey and honeycomb.
2. Must run to the Lord (8)
The Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 3:12-16
12 Not that I have already obtained it, nor is it that I have completed it.
But I run to seize the one for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not consider myself to have caught it yet.
There is only one thing to do, to forget what is behind and to grasp what is ahead.
I run for the reward of the calling of which I have been called.
If you think differently about something
God will reveal this to you as well. 16 But whatever we have reached, we will do it.
3. Must walk with the Lord (9)
Those who love the Lord make the Lord my Lord and my God.
a person who has Let's open the door of our hearts and place the Lord on the throne
Notice Revelation 3:20-22?
20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears my voice,
Open the door and I will come in to him and eat with him.
He will eat with me. 21 To him who overcomes, I will give him my throne
As I overcame and sit with my Father on the throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
