Title: The Saints Who Seek Peace
Bible: Psalm 122:1-9
The starting line of the Word>>
This time, we will share a sermon with the title of “Saints seeking peace.”
British poet and critic S.T. “Peace is the most valuable of all the blessings of the world,” Coleridge said.
When Jesus found his disciples after his resurrection, the first blessing he gave was 'peace'.
Jerusalem is the center of faith for Israel and the holy place of God's temple.
But the Bible commands Israel to seek the peace of Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is the place where the Word of God is, and it symbolizes the place where God's work and life are.
What was the reality of such Jerusalem?
It was often invaded by foreign powers and complained of difficulties.
That is, Jerusalem was the place where there were as many temptations of the devil as there was God's grace.
Even believers who are living a life of faith today are tested by the devil in important places of faith like Jerusalem.
Therefore, what we should seek in an important place of faith while living a life of faith is peace.

So, what kind of peace should we seek?
First, you must seek peace of mind.
According to Proverbs 17:22,
“A happy heart is good medicine, but a troubled spirit dries up the bones.”
I say.
When the heart is happy, there is peace.
David confesses in Psalm 27:3.
“Though an army is encamped against me, my heart is not afraid; though wars arise against me, I will rather be at peace.”
What do you mean?
David is now in a state of crisis where his life is threatened by war, betrayal, and plotting.
However, he confesses that he is at peace because God protects and guides him in all circumstances.
According to John 14:27,
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. What I give to you is not as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Jesus promised us peace.
In this way, in order to obtain peace of mind, we must always think of the Spirit.
Satan's temptation comes when we think of the flesh.
According to Romans 8:6,
“The mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.”

We must always avoid sin, pray, receive the filling of the Holy Spirit, seek the glory of God, and think of faith.
