Title: The Secret of Faith that Pleases God!
Contents
If a man pleases God, nothing can be more precious than this. Then, what must man do to please God? The Bible tells us what pleases God.
Of those who please God, it is written, “Where, then, is there room to boast? by what law, or by works, but not by the law of faith” (Romans 3:27), and “without faith it is impossible to please God.” He who comes to him must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him” (Hebrews 11:6).
Therefore, those who please God, the righteous, are those who live by faith alone. Therefore, it is testified, “But my righteous one shall live by faith; and if he goes back, my heart has no pleasure in him” (Hebrews 10:38).
The first person in this world to please God was not the first Adam, but the last Adam, the second man. This man is the man recognized as the Son of God, and the man who preceded Abraham, the father of faith, is Jesus Christ.
It is written, "Jesus said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am." (John 8:58) And again, "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day, and he saw it and was glad" (John 8:58). 8:56) said.
Therefore, Abraham is the “father of the faith,” the model of all who please God, and the man Jesus Christ is the “Lord of faith.” Therefore, it is written, “Let us look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2). .
The Bible does not say that God Himself is the “Lord of Faith,” but that Jesus Christ, who came from the blood of David, is the “Lord of Faith.” This is because, in the relationship between God and man, faith is the most precious gift a person can receive from God. Therefore, it is testified, “It is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8).
Therefore, the faith that leads to the salvation of souls is like “hidden manna” and “wine stored long” for his people who will please him, his children foreknowled by God.
This precious faith is a hidden treasure from those of the world who are not God's people, and we do not know what it is. It is as it is written, “As it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear has heard, nor the heart of man has conceived of all that God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). .
Therefore, only those who have the mystery of faith can become workers in the house of God. It is as it is written, “He must have the mystery of the faith in a clear conscience” (1 Timothy 3:9).
The knowledge of this mystery of faith cannot be known except by the Spirit of truth. Because this is God's case. It is the same as it is written, “Who knows a man’s circumstances except the spirit that is within him? In the same way, no one knows the circumstances of God except the Spirit of God” (1 Corinthians 2:11).
It is the people of God who know the secret of the precious faith that pleases God. It is written, “But you, man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, gentleness, and fight the good fight of the faith; take hold of the eternal life, to which you were called, to which you bore witness before many witnesses. ’ (1 Timothy 6:11-12).
According to the exhortation, “Fight the good fight of faith, take hold of eternal life,” I pray that the peace of Christ will always overflow to all of God's chosen brothers and sisters who have received the heavenly citizenship for this purpose.
“But our citizenship is in heaven, and from there we await a savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the work of him who is able to subject all things to himself. ’ (Philippians 3:20-21) Amen, oh! Thank you Lord.
