Title: The Secret of Suffering

Sermon Day-070218 Sunday Noon

Text - James 1:17

Title - Secret of Suffering

The meaning and importance of socialization in the lives of people with social nature is by no means small.

Whether they like it or not, everyone lives with each other's help, so the meaning of friendship is inevitably more important.

Among them, it is natural for a human being under sin to have communion with a holy God to be evaluated as a miracle, but because of the work of Christ on the cross, we are living as the protagonists of this miracle right now.

Yehwa - Rediscovered the goal of life

For many years the cemetery custodian had been accompanied by letters and money orders without missing a week.

It was a request from a woman to bring a fresh bouquet of flowers to the grave of her dead son.

But one day, an old woman, who was completely ill, came with a large bouquet of flowers and said:

“Today I have come to place a bouquet of flowers on my son's grave. The doctor said that I would only have a few more weeks to live.”

The caretaker looked at the woman without saying a word, and said as if he had decided something.

“Madam, I regret every time I receive the money from your wife who sent me to buy flowers.”

“Are you sorry?”

“I’m sorry. No one can see or smell the flower here. But people in places like hospitals really like flowers. They can see the flowers, they can smell the scent, but no one is in this tomb.”

The woman stood silently for a long time and then turned back.

A few months later, the wife came back.

“You were right. I brought the bouquets to the people myself. People were very happy. So I was happy too. Doctors don't know why I got healthy again, but I do. Now I have found my purpose in life again.”

1. God is faithful to his promises

It is because of His faithfulness that fellowship with the Lord is comforting to us believers who live their lives while fighting rough waves.

No matter how good a promise may be, if the possibility of its fulfillment is slim, there is no comfort at all, but God is faithful to his promise, so those who have fellowship with him can endure all kinds of adversity.

People are good at lying, and there are a lot of cases where they don't keep their promises.

However, since God always keeps the word of his mouth, those who have fellowship with the Lord will never stumble under any circumstances.

The reason that the Israelites became the protagonists in the history of suffering and trials was not because there was a problem with God's faithfulness, but because they were not faithful.

Yehwa - Heaven's Couple Fight

An elderly couple who had lived together for 60 years died together in a car accident at the age of 85. Before they died, they ate a healthy diet on the advice of their grandmother and lived a healthy life for 10 years.

As they reached the gates of heaven, Peter greeted them and led them to a large mansion with a nice kitchen and jacuzzi. When Peter said this is your place to live, the old man asked what the price was, and Peter answered with a smile.

“It’s free. This is heaven.”

The next day they went to a nice golf course and played golf. The old couple were given the privilege of playing golf every day, and the golf course was changed every week to resemble the most beautiful golf course in the world.

When the old man asked how much the green fee was, Peter answered.

“I didn’t say this was heaven. You can play for free.”

The next day, they went to a wonderful buffet and there were a lot of seafood and seafood that they had never seen in the world. When the old man asked the price again, Peter answered with a bit of anger.

“You still don’t understand? It's heaven and it's free!"

The old man, who was slightly frowning, asked cautiously.

“So where are the low-fat, low-calorie foods?”

Peter looked at him like he was pathetic and explained.

“You can eat anything you want. Even if you eat like that, you won't get sick or gain weight. Because this is heaven.”

Hearing this, the old man threw off his hat, screamed and stepped on it. Peter and his grandmother calmed him down and sat him down. The old man who had been brave enough to fight his temper finally opened his mouth.

“You bastard! It's all your fault! If you hadn't thought about eating that tasteless rice flour, you'd have been here 10 years ago!"

2. The unchanging God

A person's heart is deceitful above all things, and because it is deeply corrupted, it is variable and often unreliable.

However, God is ‘unchangeable’, who is always active from beginning to end.

Therefore, those who have fellowship with God will never stumble.

From a historical point of view, it was man, not God, who broke the covenant at any time.

Depending on the circumstances and circumstances, humans can wear countless different clothes, but God is always the same.

His promises do not change, and His mercy does not change.

Sponsorship for the saints with whom we have a friendship has not changed, and the plan we have decided does not change.

Therefore, the saints must strengthen their wicks, rely on the Lord without wavering, keep in mind all the things the Lord has said, and try to put them into practice.

Among the relationships we have, the relationship with God is the most important, and those who walk with God will surely prosper and do great things regardless of circumstances or circumstances.
