The secret of unchanging love (1 Corinthians 13:7)
One constant thing you can always count on when going through the big changes in your life is the love of God.
(1) God's love never changes (Isaiah 54:8). God commands us to give the same unchanging love toward others (John 13:15).
(2) Then, how can you have a love that lasts a lifetime? If you are to build a love that will last a lifetime, you must overcome the deadly things in marriage. Difficulty, disagreement, difference, clash of opinions, disappointment, defeat, dead end, depression, doubt, wish, debt, death, difficulty...
To love others as God loves you, you must learn to love that lasts a lifetime. You should develop the following 4 habits:
1. Unchanging love extends a hand of grace. “It endures all things”
(1) No relationship can last without grace. God's grace comes from God's love (Romans 5:8).
(2) Why is grace important in a relationship? Because we are sinners in need of grace. Because he married a sinner. So we need to extend our grace towards each other.
2. Unchanging love not only gives grace but also expresses faith. “Believe in all things”
(1) Faith and love are intertwined.
(2) There are three kinds of people in the world. Someone who believes too much and is easily deceived, a critical type of person who doesn't believe in anything, someone who loves. ※Reliability measurement test
☞If we want to build a relationship that does not change, we must learn to trust God.
3. Unchanging love wishes everything. “Hope for everything”
(1) Unchanging love is hopeful. People tend to live a life that lives up to your expectations of them. Love is about being able to become your partner.
(2) Love always expects the best. What destroys love? It's not hate, dissonance, or personality differences, but negligence. Indifference.
4. Unchanging love endures the worst. “It endures all things”
(1) Love endures the worst. Unchanging love never gives up on a relationship. Continue this fight. Don't be discouraged. Don't give up. Be patient.
(2) Learning to love is the greatest thing in life. God has expressed faith in you. The Lord expects the best.
We studied 1 Corinthians 13, which is called the love chapter in the Bible, for 6 weeks.
Let God's love flow through you. (Phil 2:5) “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” This is the secret of unchanging love. Fill you with the love of Christ. Human love is exhausted.
