Title: The Secret of Wine

Bible Text: John 2:1-11
the secret of wine
Bob Procter, author of the book "You Were Born Rich," asks, "Why do you think people who make up only 1% of the world's population make 96% of the world's money?" because it lost They know something. You understand the secret.” It is knowing a secret that no one else knows.
There is an English proverb that says, “Secrets are the heart of warfare”. The secret is the weapon. There is a book called “Water knows the answer” written by a Japanese. Wine must have grapes, but you must know the secret of wine made without grapes. Please possess the weapon of life as you unravel the “secret of wine” made without grapes.
Faith is the secret.
“There was a marriage in Cana of Galilee, and she was there as the mother of Jesus, and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the marriage. When the wine ran out, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no wine." (John 2:1-3) Mary informed Jesus of the problem of running out of wine at the banquet house. I believed that Jesus could solve it. Mary, the mother of Jesus, knows the secret of suddenly making wine in a wedding house that ran out of wine during the feast.
It is Mary who knows exactly who Jesus is. Even if everyone in the world does not believe in or doubts the virgin birth, Mary knows the secret. It is not because she slept with a man and became pregnant, but because she was the one who got pregnant by the grace of the Holy Spirit. No one else knows that Jesus is the Son of God, not the son of a man Joseph.
When Jesus was 12 years old, he went up to Jerusalem with his parents and lost it. When they found him in the temple on the third day, his mother Mary said to the boy Jesus, “Son, why have you done this? Behold, your father and I have been looking for you in sorrow.” “Why did you seek me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?” (Luke 2:48-49). It is the pinnacle of why he did not know that he had to be in the temple, the house of God, as the son of God.
Mary said, “...whatever he says to the servants, do it” (v. 5). Wine made without grapes was made by Mary's faith. Jesus made wine, but it is Mary's faith that Jesus made wine for me.
There is something called “video motor rehearsal”. It allows Olympic athletes to vividly picture themselves participating in the Olympic Games in their minds. It's not a real run, it's an imaginary run. It's just an imaginary run, but the muscles reacted just like when the athletes actually ran on the track. The brain can't tell if you're actually doing it or just practicing.
Mary imagined Jesus making wine. Mary made Jesus make wine through faith and imagination. Mary put her faith and trust in Jesus. Jesus looked at the results of making wine. I imagined the empty jars full of wine. I feel with my whole body and mind that it has already happened. When parents trust and trust their children, they build up their children. The secret of wine is faith. You have to choose whether to focus on the wine-free present or on the desired state. When you focus on the things you want, the things you don't want will move away and the things you want will come.
Einstein said, “Imagination is the essence of life, a preview of the coming future.” There is possibility in imagination and reality in imagination. Free imagination is the ground for invention and creation. Genevieve Jarand said, "There is only one thing that prevents your wishes from manifesting in concrete reality, and that is you." There is a program called Imagination Plus. I hope that you will also become the main characters of Sangsang Plus. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Mary's faith made wine. Mary's faith moved Jesus to make wine. Just as a lever moves a rock, so faith is a mystical power. The secret of wine is faith.
Obedience is the secret.
“The banquet hall tasted the water-based wine, and did not know where it came from, but the servants who drew it knew” (verse 9). It is the servants who poured water who know the secret of wine. They are, as Jesus said, “...to fill the jars, to the brim” (v. 7). They filled six stone jars with two or three buckets of water. He said, “Now, take it out and bring it to the banquet hall,” he said (verse 8). Servants are people of obedience. They did what they were told. He told him to bring the water from the jar to the banquet hall. And then it became wine.
The wine secret is made of obedience. Obedience is obedience to obedience. It is obeying orders. God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble.
“Therefore, submit yourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7).
Our society likes to fight against something. Struggle is valued. We fight cancer, we fight poverty, we fight war. It's about fighting anything you don't want. Not because of submission, but because of his temperament that likes resistance.
As Carl Jung said, “If you resist something, it does not disappear, it persists”. Mother Teresa said, “I will never participate in anti-war rallies. If there is a peace meeting, please invite me.” People think that being against war is in favor of peace, but he says he will attend peace gatherings instead of going to places that are anti-war.
All the water that people poured into empty jars that had nothing in them turned into wine. If the church knows the secret of wine, it does not argue, criticize, or resist. The church can experience God's work only when there is obedience to listen and follow calmly. I have to use my energy to get water. Obedience to God's will is obedience. Wine was made by obedient people and brought joy to all. Wine makes us happy, and wine makes us sing and dance.
Naaman, the commander of the army of the king of Syria, came to Elisha, who had asked for Elijah's inspiration twice, with 10 talents of silver, 6,000 pieces of gold, and 10 sets of clothes. In the letter of the king of Aram it was written, “I am sending my servant Naaman to you, and heal him of his leprosy.” Without going out, Elisha had the servant say, “Go, wash yourself in the Jordan River seven times, and your flesh will be clean.” Naaman was furious when he heard this. I just wanted to go back. The servants dried up. Hearing the words of the servants, “I immersed myself in the Jordan River seven times according to the word of the man of God, and was made clean” (2 Kings 5:10-11). The secret of wine is obedience. He obeys to heal the sick, and obeys to defeat the devil. Please obey and make the wine of joy.
The beginning is a secret.
“Jesus performed these first signs in Cana of Galilee, revealing his glory, and the disciples believed in him” (verse 11).
The Gospel of John begins like this. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1) The words spoken here refer to Jesus Christ. Jesus is the God who said, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). “God said, Let there be light, and there was light” (Genesis 1:3). The beginning of everything is important. Because it is so difficult to get started.
The beginning can predict the end. The beginning is the seed, then the bud, then the flower, then the fruit. The beginning of God's creation is "Let there be light!" And the beginning of Jesus' miracle was to “fill the jar with water”. The secret of wine is the beginning. The target came because it started.
Whatever it is, the beginning is fresh and suspenseful. Many of the miracles and miracles of Jesus began with turning water into wine. The secret of wine is the beginning. To change your life, you have to start. It's half the start. If you've started, you've already changed.
The mystery of wine is the beginning of Jesus' first ministry. When my mother Mary said that there was no wine, she said, “Woman, what have you to do with me? My hour has not yet come” (verse 4). It is an honorific term used for But it is clear that Jesus did not intend to make wine from water that day. Jesus accepted the haste of his mother Mary. He started moving ahead of his time, which had been procrastinating over and over again. I triggered it to get started.
The mother made her son realize how powerful he was. It made me stand out. Jesus, who hesitated, procrastinated, and thought that my time had not yet come, made me think, “Now is the time, today is my day” and started it.
In order to become who God wants me to be, I have to hold on to today as my time. Don't focus on what you're afraid of. You have to focus on what you want. The secret of wine is the beginning.
The beginning is great. The first is important. Because it is the origin. The beginning is the beginning. The beginning of Jesus was in the wedding house. It started with making wine with water. Let's get started too. “Behold, I am doing a new thing, and now it will be revealed…I make roads in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19). Let's do the work of faith and labor of love. Good wine begins with the words to fill the jar with water.
Wine is figuratively wisdom. It is said that wisdom builds the house, refines the seven pillars, slaughters animals, and prepares a table by mixing wine (Proverbs 9:1-2). Wine is figuratively love. “I want to kiss me, and your love is better than wine” (Song 1:2). Wine figuratively represents joy and passion. The early church members were told that they were drunk with new wine (Acts 2:13). May joy and enthusiasm spring forth.
The secret of wine is faith. There is wine in the box of faith. The secret of wine is obedience. Wine is made through a submissive hand. The secret of wine is the beginning. Get started. Reach out your hand. Amazing things will happen. Please experience the mystery of faith. Please experience the secret of obedience. The secret of wine is the beginning. Decide and get started. A great life will begin. Use the secret of wine as a weapon in your life to win.
The secret of wine is faith! Obedience! Start!.
