Title: The secret to overcoming fear

1. Introduction

Fear is a terrifying monster that ruins, corners, and cripples people. There are three types of this fear.

The first is realistic fear. The feeling that you feel at risk of losing what you consider most important and valuable in real life: property, honor, family, health, etc. Or what if your hidden sins are revealed? It is a fearful feeling.

The second is fear of the future. Is it not a tragic situation that may occur in one's own future: business failure, incurable disease, loneliness in old age, discord among children, or going to a nursing home? It is a feeling of fear for the back.

The third is ontological fear. If it is decided that a person should die once, then where do I end up going? Am I just annihilated? Can I go to the kingdom of God? Am I really saved? A fearful emotion arising from uncertainty about

2. How does fear affect our lives?

first. Fear is the feeling of being afraid more bothers a person than the object of fear. The fear of <what if the business goes down?> in a situation where you don't know how the business will turn out is more destructive than the <actual failure of the business>.

second. When a person is seized by fear for any reason, they hide. Avoid meeting people. Since Adam, all the criminals in this world hide. Fear causes a person to close and close the door of their own mind. The basis of human life is an open meeting between people. But fear makes people hide and hide. It destroys open encounters between people and makes them unhuman.

third. Fear paralyzes all human abilities. Fear destroys the very will of a person. Keep an eye on the figure of the person caught up in fear. Anxiety, nervousness, I can't, I can't, help me, do something! It is said. Fear encapsulates a person's abilities.

Fear makes people wither, sick, and withered. A heart of fear is not God's will at all (2 Corinthians 1:7).

3. The secret to overcoming fear

first. Believe that God has put His great power in me

An American farmer had a 14-year-old son. My son wanted to drive a car. My father only allowed me to drive on the farm. One day, while his son is driving a truck, his car overturns on a slope. Dad ran away. I don't have time to call the rescue team. My son is hit by a car and is about to die. The father pushes the truck in one breath and saves his son. Later, when I pushed the car again, the car did not move.

Potential as to where this amazing power of this Father came from. it's mental what It's controversial, but one thing is for sure: the power came from within him! is. Believe that God, the source of all power, has given me wisdom and power beyond that! The first secret to overcoming fear is to believe completely without doubting that my God has given me such strength as well.

second. Don't avoid fear, face it head on

If you look at the journey of the old people, it is said that there are two scary and ferocious dogs in front of the door that enters the land of faith. Many people turn back at the door of faith because they are afraid of them. However, the pilgrim of the old man's journey safely passes through those terrifying dogs that bark like rips to eat. how? As the pilgrim looked, the dogs barked terribly, but were chained so that they could not harm anyone passing through the gate.

Fear is like a goblin. If you run away from it, it will follow you and threaten people. Do not avoid. Rather, face it boldly. Fear is inherently intangible, and when you turn back and confront it head-on, you'll see that it's actually not a big deal. If you take up the shield of faith and fight against this fearful man with the sword of the Holy Spirit, fear is really not a big deal.

third. Immerse yourself in the Word of God

See the text. I asked the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears (Psalm 34:4). The Lord is the strength of my life; whom shall I fear (Psalm 27:1). The LORD is on my side; I have no fear; what can man do to me (Psalm 118:6). When we immerse ourselves in the Word of God, all fear in us cannot but be extinguished.

4. Closing story/ Fear is not God's will. must be overcome.
