Title: The Sovereignty of Blessing

If you lend to many nations, you will not lend” (Deuteronomy 28:12).

I. God's sovereignty to bless

1. Seeing Heaven's Treasury

When God created the world, He said, “It was good,” and “good” means that the original intention that was expected when the world was created was fulfilled, and that is “goodness.” However, because of human disobedience, the world was ruined, and God wants the world to return to the purpose of creation. He wants the saved people of God to show and live who God is on this earth.

Foolish people think that they are the source of blessings, that they can be happy only with the resources of this earth without the resources of heaven, and that they can obtain resources on their own even if God cuts them off. However, since they are people whose sources of supply have been cut off, it is like embracing a broken puddle that cannot store water.

2. For him

Because the good that God ultimately wants to achieve is that the world well reveals God's purpose for creation, He opens the gates of heaven to His people and pours out resources so that they can flow like a river and heal the world.

Those to whom God opens the heavenly treasury and pours out resources are those who love God, obey God, and rejoice in doing His will. I believe that God's giving of resources does not mean that we can live according to what is right in my view, and that the highest value of living in this world lies in accomplishing God's will. For those who do their best in their place, God is the door of heaven. and pouring out the resources of heaven and of earth.

II. how to bless

1. Make it rain

The way God, who has sovereignty, gives blessings is to send rain in due season. God provides not only spiritual resources, but also physical resources according to our needs. Even if the farmer does not go to the paddy field every day and pray for good crops, it will naturally produce good quality crops if given good soil and constant sunlight and water needed for rice to grow. But God comforts our path in life by giving us the resources we need to do something, as well as resources that are not directly related to the job. However, obsessing over the resources God has given us to comfort us and forgetting the calling we need to fulfill is like throwing a gun on the battlefield while a soldier is trying to open up a consolation item.

2. Blessings in All Things

It is also said that God blesses all the works of his hands. When Joseph was taken as a slave in Potiphar's house, God blessed the house because of him. In order to walk on the majestic path of life that heals the world with the influence of grace, you must become a person whom God wants to open the treasury in heaven and pour out blessings. At that time, God pours out heavenly and earthly resources like water on the people we meet, the places where we stay and pass because of us.

. exalted above all nations

God heals the earth by opening the treasury of heaven to those who love and obey him and rejoice in fulfilling his will, and heal the earth by overflowing with heavenly and earthly resources. to excel above the nation. Therefore, we must now put away all disobedience and become people who love only God and obey God, contributing to the restoration of all people on this earth and the whole world to God's purpose of creation.
