Title: The Suffering of Jesus

Contents

God is a King who loves his people and a Father who loves his children.

Therefore, God loves and protects his possessions no matter what the cost. So he makes a way in the midst of the sea, who brings water out of the rock to drink,

You brought down quails in the east wind and manna in the morning dew, to feed and clothe the people you loved in the wilderness, and to guide your people along the way with pillars of fire and oil.

God is omnipotent, who knows what is necessary for true happiness and true joy in the world we live in. Through His Son, He writes the names of all who believe in Him in the books of heaven. It will be all right, and you are telling us to be strong both physically and mentally.

Who is Jesus, the Son of God, who came to this earth to help humans?

Only those whom the Father gave him, those who believed in God through him, belonged to him.

He made heaven known to them.

Jesus, who came as the Son of God to help humans, did not avoid the narrow road, the narrow gate, and the path of suffering if it was the way for them, and He was not afraid of the traps created by those in power, and He took His people without hesitation. You are on a path of hardship.

In the text, the scene of the suffering of the Lord Jesus Christ to redeem us from our sins is recorded.

This text was written by the prophet Isaiah 750 years before the birth of Jesus, after receiving a revelation from God. It testifies to the benefits that humans can gain through this.

} Today, in Matthew 21:9 and below, 2009 years ago, Jesus entered Jerusalem to die while being welcomed by the people of the city of Jerusalem who said, “Blessed be Hosanna,” who rode a donkey and waved palm branches on Sunday, the day after the Sabbath. It is the “Palm Sunday” and “The Week of Passion”.

} What did they mean by “Hosanna”? “Save us from our sins.”

It means that they are well aware of the impact of Jesus' suffering on many people, and they praise it.

Humans were originally created as beings to obey and worship God when they were created by God's Word, but humans with free will fell into the temptation of the serpent to satisfy their own satisfaction in Eden and disobeyed God, and then suffered various sins and sorrows. It is full of suffering, suffering and disease. We have come to live in a land where poverty constantly plagues people's lives.

Job defines us humans living in these sins

Job 5:7- “Life is born for suffering, as sparks fly upward.” As he speaks, he confesses that no one can avoid suffering like a fire burning above his head by his own strength and ability.

However, God, who is rich in mercy, came to this earth as a son to overcome the power of the devil and solve the various problems that afflict humans in order to extinguish the sufferings of humans who groan amid various sufferings and sufferings under the devil who has seized the power of death.

1. It was the suffering that bore the sorrows of life.

Isaiah 53:4- “Surely he has borne our afflictions and carried our sorrows.”

From birth to death, humans live under the devil, who has the power of death, suffering from various kinds of sorrows due to the problems of eating, drinking, and wearing, and various diseases and sufferings.

Human life is so sad that there is no rest from birth to the moment of death.

Then, in the end, we will experience the greatest sorrow of mankind, death, and Jesus not only gave us the life to live forever with God, but also the various sorrows we face on this earth, because Jesus took on the greatest sorrows that humans would suffer, both physically and mentally. Instead of worrying.

The cross that Jesus carried is the cross of sorrow that humans must bear in the end, and our Lord is telling us to surrender all kinds of sorrows in our lives to Him and overcome our sorrows.

Hebrews 2:18- “Because he suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.” Said.

Our Jesus not only solved even death, the greatest sorrow that we cannot solve by our own strength, but also solved the sorrow and anxieties suffered with the body through the suffering of the cross.

Matthew 11:28- “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and rest.”

2. Jesus' suffering was due to our transgressions and sins

Isaiah 53:5- “He was pierced for our transgressions, and he was bruised for our iniquities.”

Jesus had no sin because the Word became flesh, and there was no reason to suffer death on the cross because he was without sin, but in order to practice his love for mankind, to bear our sins and trespasses in our place. He wore a crown of thorns and suffered severe suffering on the cross.

In Romans 3:10, “It is said that there is no one righteous in the world.”

Romans 3:23- “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

As the confession of Psalm 51:5 says, we are born in iniquity and we are born in iniquity.

However, God granted forgiveness and mercy to those who believed in Jesus who suffered on the cross in order to atone for our sins and transgressions, and freed them from the punishment of hell.

Romans 5:8 - “God demonstrates his love for us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” said.

We do not meet the Lord because we are more righteous than others.

When we were sinners, in a situation where we could not be forgiven, the Lord proved God's love for us by suffering and dying on the cross, and we are saved through faith.

Because of our transgressions and sins, we are destined to die, and we are sinners who have no choice but to perish, but because Jesus suffered instead, we can be forgiven of our transgressions and sins and live as children of God. Thank you for this great grace for the rest of your life.

3. The sufferings of Jesus were for us to enjoy peace.

Isaiah 53:5- “By his discipline we have peace” (reconciliation with God)

Before He suffered, Jesus said that His suffering was a reconciliation between sinful mankind and God.

John 14:27 - “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” The peace that Jesus gave us in his confession was completely different from that of the world, the peace paid the price of blood. No one can enjoy peace when sin with God is blocked.

After Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit, their spiritual eyes were opened, and to hide their sins, they made skirts from tree leaves and hid among the trees to hide their sins.

This is one of human nature, but God restored human fear to peace through the suffering of the cross for those who feared hiding under a tree because of sin.

Please believe that the peace of God will come when the wall of sin (original sin) is broken down.

If you take an airplane on a rainy day and go up high, the sun shines brightly in the sky, but if you look at the ground, you can see black clouds covered.

The reason the person under the cloud cannot see the light of the sun is that the cloud obscured the light.

Because the dark clouds of sin are blocking God's glorious grace and joy, people cannot enjoy the peace that God has given and live in sorrow.

Believe that Jesus gives us peace because we receive the chastisement that we deserve for our sins, and I hope you will live in joy always by violating the peace that God has given you.

4. The sufferings of Jesus are for us to be healed.

Isaiah 53:5- “By his wounds we are healed.”

} Here, “healing” means healing, and what about Jesus’ suffering on the cross?

As suffering to heal people from physical and spiritual diseases,

Jesus' suffering on the cross aims to heal all human beings from poverty and disease.

Jeremiah 30:17 says, “I will heal you and heal your wounds.”

However, healing between spirit and body is a work that happens when we hold on to the Word of God and rely on it.

Psalm 107:20 - "He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them out of the abyss."

As you hold on to the word God has given you according to this word today, I hope that the sick will be healed and the brokenhearted will be comforted. (1 Peter 2:24- “By his wounds you were healed.”)

Miracles of healing appear to those who believe the word of God as it is.

We can heal any wounds in the name of Jesus (Mark 3:13)

Exodus 15:26 also says, “I am the Lord who heals you.”

When Jesus came to this earth, He healed all of our diseases and weaknesses.

Matthew 4:23-24 “Jesus went through all Galilee, bringing people suffering from various diseases, demon-possessed, epileptics, and healing them.”

We all realized by faith the meaning of the suffering Jesus suffered on the cross, and while taking root in our lives, all the sorrows, faults, and sins that plagued us were extinguished. Congratulations on making you happy.
