Contents
The three great salvations of Jesus (1 Peter 1:19-21)
1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
1:20 He was foretelled before the foundation of the world, but was made manifest for you in these last days.
1:21 For you believe in God through Christ, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.
Introduction
When are people most daring?
When we receive love, we become bold when we receive responsibility.
I want you to believe that Jesus loves you and takes responsibility for you.
Main subject
Today's Word of God is speaking of Jesus, the savior.
1. He saves us from all sins.
1) All people are sinners (Romans 3:23).
3:23 All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
2) Sinners must pay the penalty for their sins (Romans 6:23).
6:23 The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
3) Jesus bore our sins in His body (1 Peter 2:24).
2:24 He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness. By His wounds you were healed.
4) When we confess our sins, He cleanses us from all our sins (1 John 1:9).
1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
2. He saves us from all tribulation (John 16:33).
16:33 I say this to you, that you may find peace in me. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
1) He said that Christians also face various afflictions in the world.
2) Jesus' disciples also suffered tribulation (Matthew 8:25).
8:25 His disciples came and woke him up, saying, "Lord, save us, for we are perishing."
3) Humility through tribulation (2 Chronicles 33:12),
33:12 When he was in trouble, he pleaded with the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.
The refinement of faith (1 Peter 1:5-8),
1:5 You are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation which is prepared to be revealed in the last days.
1:6 So now you were forced to be grieved for a little while because of various trials, but rather rejoice.
1:7 that the trial of your faith, more precious than gold that perishes, even though it is tried by fire, may be found to be praise, glory, and honor at the appearing of Jesus Christ.
1:8 You have not seen him, but you love him. Although you do not see him now, you believe and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy.
You will have the hope of the kingdom of heaven (Psalm 50:15).
50:15 Call on me in the day of trouble, and I will deliver you, and you will glorify me.
** Jesus is the savior of all tribulation and life **
3. He saves us from weakness and disease.
1) The Lord knows my weakness (Romans 15:1)
15:1 We who are strong ought to bear the weakness of the weak, and not please ourselves.
① Law ② Perfect obedience ③ Hatred, jealousy, temptation, resentment, complaint
2) Jesus carried my weakness
3) Jesus was able to save disease (1 Peter 1:24).
1:24 Therefore all flesh is like grass, and all its glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall.
** I pray that God will receive this promise today. **
conclusion
Jesus is our true savior.
To save me from sin and death, I pray that you believe in the Savior Jesus, who died on the cross and forgave all my sins today.
