Title: Oh Byung-Eye's Transfer
Word: Luke 9:10-17
Starting Point of the Word>>
Today, this time, we will share the sermon with the title of “The Miracle of Five Byeong-Eye” through the words of the text.
In today's text, we see the miracle of Jesus feeding 5,000 people with two fish and five barley loaves and harvesting twelve baskets.
This event, along with the resurrection of Jesus, is the only miracle that all four Gospels report together.
The miracle of Oh Byeong-yi moved to a quiet empty place in Bethsaida to provide rest to the 12 disciples that Jesus returned from their missionary journey and to train them separately.
At that time, many people knew that fact and sought Jesus, preaching the gospel of God and healing many sick people.
In the midst of this, a lot of time passed and the day was setting.
Then one of the disciples asks Jesus to send the crowds back.
Instead, Jesus commands his disciples to give them something to eat.
But the disciples had nothing to share.
I didn't even have any money.
So the disciples say they have nothing to share with the Lord.
At that time, a young child from the crowd came to Jesus with five barley loaves and two fish, the food of his own.
However, with these five barley loaves and two fish, many people present at the time experienced God's miracles.
People without faith do not accept all the miracles recorded in the Bible as facts.
They conclude that the miracles in the Bible are too irrational and illogical and say that humans cannot experience miracles.
He says that the miracles that humans can enjoy can only be tasted in human thinking, not in our lives.
But the miracles recorded in the Bible are certainly historical events.
Just as a miracle happened in the context where the disciples judged that they could not afford the crowd's dinner in the text, and they could not find food at all, even today, at the very moment when the saints are discouraged that they cannot do anything, Jesus Christ Because of this, you will be faced with a miraculous situation where you will gain strength and be able to do it.

In this way, God's works often happen miraculously in situations that are judged impossible by humans.
Then, how does such a miracle as God's work happen?
First, miracles happen through small things.
If you look at the words of the text, there was a miracle that 12 baskets were left after feeding a huge crowd of 5,000 men, even if they were full-grown men, with five barley loaves and two fish.
The work of a great miracle that cannot be imagined has happened through something really insignificant and small.
In this way, the miracles of God often happen through small and insignificant things.
In the words of Joshua 6, it is recorded that Israel destroyed the city of Jericho.
Jericho is a strong and strong city in Canaan.
However, what Israel used to destroy this city was not a weapon of military or warfare.
Israel destroyed the strong city of Jericho with the sound of trumpets and shouts.
According to 1 Samuel 17:1-54, David's small slingshot defeated the giant Goliath.
We must remember that God's miraculous work happens through small things and reveals God's power and glory to a greater extent.
So we don't have to be discouraged by looking at our little and insignificant features and abilities.
According to Philippians 4:19-20,
“My God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Glory to God and our Father for ever and ever, Amen.”
Says it.
People consider it to be filled with rational, objective and analytical filling.
The disciples thought so too.
So they thought that they could not expect any history from the two fish and five barley loaves offered by a young child because they had nothing.
But God's way is different from ours.
We must live a miraculous life to experience God's way on this earth.
Second, miracles happen through sacrifice.
It was the gift of a child who made the miracle of five fish.
The food offered before Jesus was the lunch that his mother had prepared for him as a young child.
The little child generously offered what he ate to the Lord.
According to John 6:8-9,
“And one of the disciples, Andrew the brother of Simon Peter, said to Jesus, “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish.
From the mouths of the disciples of Jesus came the words of how much this little thing would be to many.
But today we are seeing a miracle work with this little food.
A miracle happened because he was willing to sacrifice himself, no matter how small.
In 1 Kings 17:8-16, the widow of Zarephath experienced the miracle of not running out of food until the famine was over by sacrificing flour and oil enough to make one loaf of bread.
Many saints and people today say that there are no miracles.
However, we must realize that the reason we do not experience miracles is because we do not have small sacrifices.
Today, a child's meal was offered before Jesus.
A miracle occurred when such a little child gave up food and sacrificed to go to Jesus.
I pray in the name of the Lord that the beautiful love of the Lord and His wonderful work flow and overflow in this land through the small sacrifices of the members of our service today.
Third, a miracle happened through prayer.
Even though Jesus was the Son of God, he prayed to God first by taking the food that had been offered.
So, through Jesus' prayer, God's amazing miracle took place.
Most people think of it as a miracle only when God appears before their eyes and a dramatic change of circumstances occurs.
What's even more disappointing is that receiving answers to prayers is not considered a miracle.
Do you know why?
Because people don't think they can see anything that changes.
Elijah had the same disposition as ours, but when he prayed, he experienced a miracle that caused a cataclysmic change in nature.
According to James 5:17-18,
“Elijah was a man like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.
Today, there are things that we receive answers from by praying to God.
If problems that cannot be solved with material knowledge or material strength by our own strength can be solved through prayer, that is a miracle.
Therefore, I believe that we should become people who work miracles through prayer, not just saying that miracles do not happen.
At the end of the speech>>
Organize your words.
It is also a miracle to be able to do things through Christ in situations that humans cannot do, and to be provided with more abundance through small things.
The great achievements achieved through tearful sacrifice can also be called miracles.
Lastly, what is accomplished through earnest prayer is also a miracle.
Thomas Jefferson, a naturalist, rewrote the New Testament during his presidency, deleting passages of the Bible that he disagreed with.
Most of the parts he deleted were passages related to Jesus' miracles.
If you delete the miracles, there is nothing left from Genesis to Revelation.
The whole Bible is a miracle.
It is a miracle that Jesus Himself is with us now and that He bore the cross for us.
In the name of the Lord, I ask that the life of Jesus will become an opportunity for us to be born again into a miraculous life through this Lent.
Please remember that we who live today can also experience God's miracles.
Jesus gives enough to those who need it, and He gives enough to those who want to give.
Example>>
A boy was born in Russia.
Growing up, the boy had a serious complex about his appearance.
I resented her too wide nose, thick lips, small eyes and long limbs.
The boy despaired that his appearance would prevent him from leading a happy life.
One day he prayed earnestly to God.
“God grant me a miracle. If you change my appearance to be beautiful, I will give my all to make you happy.”
Nothing changed for the boy.
As he grew up, he began to show his genius for literature.
And I got the answer to solve the 'appearance complex' that has plagued me for a long time.
The beauty of a person is not in the appearance, but the true beauty is in the inside.
Love for neighbors and clean personality come together to create beauty.
This boy is the great Russian writer Tolstoy.
Even now, we don't remember him as an 'ugly man'.
Jesus came to our lives miraculously. That
And through that miracle, he showed the kingdom of God.
The more we get to know the Lord, the more we hope that our lives will become miracles.
Dear brothers and sisters, I pray in the name of the Lord that you will become believers who deliver the great miracles of God to this earth through giving small things in our lives, sacrifice, and earnest prayer thanks.
