Title: The True Fruit of Faith
Contents
sure fruit of faith
(2007.01.07. Week) (Hebrews 11:8~12)
2007 has begun.
Already in the first hour of the first day, while giving thanks to God,
Also, I confessed to God that I wished for a blessed year through faith in God's grace.
*Dear saints, do you firmly believe in the existence of God?
*Do you really believe that God is a rewarder of those who believe?
* Do you truly believe in God and seek Him diligently?
If so, I pray that you believe without a doubt that you will be blessed - because the living God has promised to reward those who believe and practice with certainty. (Hebrews 11:6)
Faith is the seed - the fruit of faith is blessing. Award. - The fruit of faith is the sure fruit.
Today's text introduces the fact that Abraham and his wife Sarah - surely believed in God and were surely blessed with the fruit of that faith.
Dear saints, if you are sure of your faith - I pray that you will believe that the fruits that follow will also be certain.
1. It is an overflowing fruit.
God is not a stingy God. Please believe that God is a God who gives generously, shakes, presses, and overflows.
*In Elisha's day, there were poor prophets (2 Kings 4:1-7). - He was poor, but he was sure of his faith. Such a cadet died early, leaving only debt. - The wife, too, was sure of her faith. - Her husband died, her debts could not be repaid, and her children were sold into slavery. - But only faith has not changed.
So, I went to the prophet Elisha, and I obeyed the prophet's instructions in faith and delivered the last bottle of oil. His faith immediately turned into fruit.
God worked a miracle in a bottle of oil, and many jars borrowed from all over the town were filled with oil - sell the oil, pay off all debts, set your children free, and live abundantly with the remaining oil. that has been - Amen?? - I also believe that you will reap abundant fruits according to your faith in saying Amen.
* There was a little child in the field of Bethsaida (John 6:9-13). - It's time to eat in a field where at least 5000 people are gathered. But out of the crowd, only this child had food - At that moment, Jesus told the crowd to share the food with those who had something to eat - This child had little enough food to eat by himself - 5 barley loaves and a small Although there were only two fish - Believe Jesus' words - I gave 5 bottles and 2 fish to the disciples of Jesus - What was the result? - More than 5000 people in the group ate to their full, even the children were full, and 12 baskets were left full, much more than the first one - Hallelujah??
If your faith is certain, your reward is also certain. I believe that you will come back with abundant fruits, abundant rewards, and abundant blessings.
2. Even if it is slow, you reap.
Every time we believe and obey, the miracle that appeared to the widow of the prophetess, the miracle that happened in the fields of Bethsaida, explodes.
Even if it is not immediately, even a little later - the fruits of faith will surely return.
* Abram was living without children in the land of Haran (Genesis 12:1-3; Hebrews 11:8-10). - If you leave the land of Haran and follow God's instructions, you are promised a great nation, great wealth, and great blessings.
I believed in that promise and followed it - instead of forming a large nation - Abram, who had no children, regarded him as an adopted son and even his beloved nephew left the house. After waiting for 10 years, I couldn't have a child, so I got a concubine and gave birth to a son with difficulty, but God would not approve that child. Still, he gave Abraham a son named Isaac - Hallelujah - 25 years had passed since he received the first promise. After that, they had six more sons and became very rich. As promised - Amen??
*There is Joseph who had a big dream as a child. - I had a dream in which the sun, the moon and the stars bowed down to Joseph. It was a dream in which God showed Joseph's future. Joseph believed that the dream would come true. However, that dream did not come true immediately. - When I talked about my dream, I was hated by my brothers, and I met a point of death, and I ended up being sold as a slave. Still, I believed in the God who gave me my dream and lived faithfully, but I was framed and imprisoned. However, he met the king through the king's servant whom he met in prison - and eventually became the prime minister - and truly became a person who received great praise from the sun, moon and stars - it was also the fruit that returned after waiting for several decades.
Dear saints - Chickens lay eggs after raising them for half a year, but cows have to raise them for three years to produce calves. Doesn't a person have to take care of them for more than 20 years to do their job?
Some of the fruits of faith are realized quickly and some are slow.
Do not be disappointed that there is no visible answer right away - please keep your faith firmly knowing that your faith will surely bear fruit. - Even if it is late, the fruit of faith will return with a clear reward.
3. You will reap it even in future generations.
Both Abraham and Joseph reaped great fruits decades later. However, there are some, if not many, who have not reaped any fruit even after several decades have passed. What happened to them?
Is their belief really an unacknowledged belief? Is their faith really fruitless?
*There is Moses, the servant of God. - God commanded Moses to liberate the Israelites from Egypt and lead them to the land of Canaan. - Moses believed the word of God, persuaded Pharaoh, king of Egypt, threatened, and with God's help, liberated the Israelites and came out of Egypt. However, I thought it was the welfare of Canaan where milk and honey flowed immediately after liberation from Egypt, but it is not. - Although they suffered for 40 years in the wilderness, they could not enter Canaan. - Moses, too, could not overcome the time, so the day came when he died at the age of 120.
Now God is calling you to face death. - Was Moses really a failure who died after trying in vain?
No - you die here, but before you die, he says you have something to say - he shows you the land of Canaan, although you have not been there. And he promises - "Though you will not go in - your labor has not been in vain - this people will now go into the land of Canaan" - Hallelujah !!!
*King David's lifelong wish was to build a temple. - That's definitely a good thing. That work is for God. But God did not allow King David to build the temple. But David's faith did not change. Even though he knew that he would not be able to build the temple, he diligently prepared the materials for the temple. What is the result? - David died without being able to build the temple - David's son Solomon - built the temple with the materials his father David had prepared - Hallelujah !!!
The seeds planted in faith are never in vain. Even if it is not immediately or slowly, whether it is in the present generation or in future generations, the tenfold will surely come back. God gives you a reward. Just make sure you believe it.
4. You reap as the fruit of your soul.
The children of the wilderness and the wives of the prophets were planted with material and immediately reaped with material.
Abraham and Joseph planted a dream and reaped the fruit of the dream, although it took a little longer.
Moses and King David planted it in their own generation, but did not reap the harvest at that time, but they left the fruit as a reward for future generations.
Shall we all reap the fruits of the visible reality?
no. We reap the fruits of reality, but we also reap the more important fruits of the soul.
The last, best, and greatest fruit given to those who believe - The final, best, and greatest blessing is Heaven.
They are all people who have reaped the best fruit of eternal life in heaven. - Beloved saints - Believe that there are clear fruits and blessings in faith - Keep your faith and set an example of faith - May you reap abundant fruits in the present, future generations, and to come - Trust and rely on God the rewarder and congratulations.
