Title: The True Meaning of Jesus' Resurrection

Contents

I pray that the grace of the Lord who has been resurrected after breaking the authority of death and resurrected overflows in the hearts and families of the saints today.

Jesus' disciples were not the first to visit his tomb after he died. It was called Mary Magdalene, a weak woman and another Mary. The two women rushed to the grave in the morning dew. However, when the two women arrived at the tomb, the stone that had sealed Bunny's tomb had been rolled over. Embarrassed, he ran into the tomb and found the body of Jesus. Who has removed the body of the Lord? When I cried out, I could hear the voice of the risen Lord saying, “Are you looking for the living among the dead?”

The Lord is risen. He died again three days later. Today we are all gathered here to celebrate the day of the Lord's resurrection.

The true meaning of Jesus' resurrection suggests several points to us.

First, it conveys the fact that justice inevitably triumphs over evil. The priests and scribes of the Jewish nation convened a general assembly in Jerusalem on the Sabbath day and fabricated false testimony to frame and crucify Jesus. However, the Lord resurrected from the dead on the third day after his death and proudly triumphed over the forces of injustice. The resurrection of Jesus was an exhilarating event that eloquently demonstrated the triumph of righteousness. In the name of the Lord, I ask that all of us firmly believe in the final victory and move forward with courage.

Second, it means that truth overcomes lies. Many witnesses were mobilized when Jesus was executed. Last Friday night, in a play made by the youth group thinking about the suffering and resurrection of Jesus, there were many false evidences against Jesus. Among them, there were many kinds of false evidence, including the crime of vandalism of the temple, the crime of disrupting society, the sin of leading the poor, the sin of breaking the Sabbath, The crime of unlicensed medical practice, the crime of exposing the misery of the world, the crime of a false religious leader, the crime of not being polite, the crime of telling one to love the enemy, the crime of buying and selling goods by magic, the crime of defaming the priest with a snake bite, a viper, The sin of tax evasion after selling medicine to 5,000 people and selling bread and meat at the baetseda, the sin of making sorry for the religious, the politician and the rich, the sin of telling the truth about them, etc. was executed in But the lie turned into truth again after three days.

We believe that lies never triumph over truth. You can fool a person for a while, but not for long. You can win for a while, but you can't win forever.

Third, love has the meaning of conquering hate. Those who crucified Jesus slandered and killed Jesus by all means and methods, but the Lord loved even those who had no choice but to hate him. Please. We do not know what we are doing.” He prayed for love and forgiveness.

Fourth, he revealed the meaning of life triumphing over death. In the face of death, everyone has no choice but to be weak and miserable. Jesus, the Son of God, overcame this death and was resurrected. Jesus overcame death and brought victory by resurrecting. In the sight of Jesus, who is the true life, death was defeated without any doubt. So, Paul vigorously testifies of the victory over death in 1 Corinthians 15:55, “O death, do you have your victory? Power is the law. We thank God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Now we have nothing to fear as we believe and follow the Lord of the Resurrection. Because the Lord rose from the dead and became the firstfruits of those who slept, and today, we also have the hope of resurrection, even if we die.

Fifth, the meaning of the resurrection of Jesus implies the truth that humility overcomes pride. Philippians 2:6 says, “In the beginning, though he was in the form of God, he did not consider equality with God to be robbery, but took the form of a mocking servant, and became in human form, and humbled himself. obedient, that is, death on the cross.

Therefore God highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and with every mouth confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to God the Father It will bring glory to you.” This is humility. This humility, which humbles itself, finally overcomes pride.

Sixth, this is the sound that gratitude triumphs over complaints. In other words, gratitude is the measure of faith. Gratitude is the standard of measure that can measure how much or how much faith he has.

Your faith will be weighed according to how much you give thanks. God shows us the will to give us more thanks and take even what He has given us if we complain, and this resurrection has such a deep meaning.

Seventh, the resurrection of Jesus removed fear with peace. He barbed the door and appeared to the fearful disciples and said, ‘Do not be afraid. The Lord brought peace and removed sorrow. Early in the morning when Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to Jesus' tomb and saw the empty tomb and cried, the Lord appeared and said, 'It is I, do not be afraid,' and turned sorrow into joy.

Eighth, the true meaning of Jesus' resurrection proves that silence overcomes shouting. The scribes and Jews were looking for charges against Jesus in front of the prostitute who was caught in adultery. If you follow the law of Moses, you will be killed, and if you follow the law of the Lord, you are told to love and forgive. What should I do with this woman who was caught in adultery in the field? It was embarrassing. The excited crowd was in a dangerous mood to pick up stones and strike Jesus with the woman.

Then Jesus was silent. You wrote on the ground. And with that one word, “He who is without sin, let him first cast a stone,” the atmosphere completely changed.

When a woman who met Jesus on the street to heal her dying daughter cried out earnestly, ‘Heal my daughter,’ Jesus did not answer.

How embarrassed was that woman? But the Lord did not answer a single word, but remained silent, so the silence reveals more of the Lord's words. Even when the priests and scribes in Pilate's court falsely testified of Jesus, the Lord was silent.

There is no greater eloquence than silence. As Easter approaches, we need to know the truth that silence overcomes shouting. Although we strive for the Lord's work on Sunday, for example, shouting in a meeting room in a restaurant and raising our voices loudly is a transgression in the sight of God and is not beneficial to the saints. Shouting is weaker than silence. Starting today, we must refine this meaning in our hearts.

Finally, the resurrection proved that Jesus was the Son of God.

He proved that Jesus is the Savior through the Resurrection. It proved that Jesus is the Second Coming Lord. Matthew 1:21 says, “You will give birth to a son, and you will call him Jesus. who will save the people from their sins.” Also, Acts 4:12 says, “Salvation is found in no one else, and there is no other name under heaven given by which we must be saved.” By resurrecting the meaning of the names Jesus, Jesus, and Jesus, and the meaning of the Lord's coming into the world, he proved it. Jesus is the Savior, Jesus is the Judge, and Jesus is the Second Coming Lord.

Karlwald, the great Christian theologian, had this to say about Easter.

“The sermons on Christmas and Easter do not need to be long. The shorter they are, the more sleepy they are. Because the members of the resurrection of Jesus Christ are a historical fact, the resurrection of Jesus Christ itself is a lively sermon, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ itself is a refreshing emotion. to be."

Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected

Let the old me die and be reborn as the new me.

Kill me, who lives and die, and make me reborn as a human with an open mind.

Please kill me who is a bystander who wonders if I should meddle in other people's affairs, and resurrect me as a responsible human being.

Please kill me, who only thinks that this is all I need, and resurrect me as a human being who can be grateful for even the smallest grace.

Please kill me of the emptiness and grumbling that there is nothing wrong with living in the world, and resurrect me as a human being who keeps my dreams until the end.

Please kill me, who is wrong and hate me, who wants to see things go wrong, and let me be born again with the separation of blessings, forgiveness, and love. Amen.
