The Bible is the heaven of parables. Just like solving riddles and searching for treasures, you need to solve hidden truths to become certain of your doubts and find your treasures.
1. parable story
The Bible is a tool that conveys the truth of heaven through earthly things and events. In the parable of the vine in John 15, life cannot bear any fruit of life unless Jesus Christ, the Lord of life, and the created man (disciple) are united together.
In the parable of the rich man and Lazarus in chapter 16, Luke tells us that the eschatological fate of those who realize the parable and those who do not know it is the difference between heaven and hell. The rich fool is homeless outside the gates. Through Lazarus, he did not realize that in the next generation he would suffer eternal homelessness outside the gates of heaven. However, Lazarus, the homeless man, looked to the rich and longed for the eternal value of the kingdom of heaven he possessed. The happiest and most successful people in this world and in the world to come are those who discover the truth by deciphering parables, possess and enjoy the truth as their own. The words of Galatians 4 are deep truths compared through the two sons of Abraham. It may seem like a story about one man's family history, which is only about fifty miles away, but there is an important truth that God wants to convey to us.
2. Two sons of Abraham (who become children of God?)
There are two types of eggs: unfertilized eggs used for food and fertilized eggs used for hatching. The analogy of unfertilized and fertilized eggs also applies to humans.
It is the truth that there are people who are of the flesh, who do not have life for a short time, and people who are of the spirit, who have eternal life, who live in the next life. Unfertilized eggs born from physical parents will rot, but those like fertile eggs, who received life from the heavenly Father through the Word and the Holy Spirit, will enjoy eternal life of resurrection.
This parable is like the parable of the sower, that the sower is the same, but there are four types of fields. Unless it is a good field or fertile soil, God's word is only lodging on the basis of religion, morality, and philosophy, and God does not recognize it.
3. Two models of people
1) As the son of a servant born to the mother of an Ishmaelite/maid servant, his status does not change. It is driven by a passive servant attitude and command, and is afraid of its owner. It is driven by the lusts of the flesh and the information of the soul. You cannot inherit. Born as a slave to sin, he tries to become a son of God through the works of the law, but it is impossible.
2) As a son born to an Isaac type person/free wife, his status is a son. The attitude of the Son is active, and the Spirit overcomes the body and rules the soul. He knows himself and exists for his father. He loves and respects his father, is not afraid, and calls him father. inherit property. Because he was born again as the son of righteousness through faith in the gospel, he became the son of God without any effort. Now that we live to be glory and joy to our Heavenly Father, we can bear good fruit if we are led by the Holy Spirit. Eventually, you will inherit the kingdom of God.
