Title: The upright in heart (Psalm 32:1)

Contents

an honest person

Psalm 32:1-11

You will know the Chinese character. It means that when you try to gain a little, you lose a lot. It is human to become foolish to the point of losing something truly precious because of trivial things. How many people lose their honesty because of greed and lie in order to get more. There is nothing more foolish than gaining a lie by losing honesty.

A person must be truthful no matter what. The word "truth" is said in Russian. However, it is said that the word "truth" also contains the meaning of ". As for how the word “prauda” came about, it is said that [Tolstoy] once traveled to a country and had a bag with a pretty lily flower on it. But a girl was begging her mother to buy a bag of Tolstoy. Seeing this, [Tolstoy] promised to give him a bag when he would return in ten days. And when he came back ten days later, the girl had died of leukemia. Then [Tolstoy] goes to the girl's grave, saying, "The child is gone, but the promise lives on." The bag is then hung on a wooden cross tombstone. Years later, someone engraved a slogan, placing a bag carved out of stone on a stone cross instead of wood. After that, it is said that this place has become a tourist attraction.

A promise is worth its truth when kept. Now our country is noisy because of promises. The problem is that you don't trust your promises. No matter how much the government promises, the people will not believe it. At first, they held candlelight protests saying they couldn't believe it over a specific title, but now they can't believe anything or no matter what. It's a pity that it seems to deviate from the essence of all these titles, but the fundamental problem in this is trust. It started with the fact that people who accept me do not believe me even if I am honest. Making too many promises is a problem, and refusing to believe anything is also a problem.

I wrote a book called [Dr. Jerry White]. Here, he analyzes people's honesty in four ways. First, general honesty. This is not lying, this is what is commonly thought of as honesty. The second is legal honesty. It is honesty that follows the rules that have been set by oneself, regardless of what anyone sees or says. The third is inner honesty. It is honesty in keeping your conscience clean according to the conscience God has given you. The fourth is biblical honesty. It is to keep honesty in front of God, neither in front of people nor in oneself as a standard.

Acts 5 tells the story of a famous married couple [Ananias] and [Sapphira]. They sold the land they had when they needed donations to the Jerusalem church they were serving. Actually, this is not an easy decision. How many of the church members today sell their house or sell their land and donate to the church? However, I think the fact that this couple made such a decision is amazing. However, a couple with such a wonderful idea became so sinners that they eventually suffered death.

David, who wrote today's text, is a very honest man. But before that, the David we know is not a good man. not even righteous. Looking at what he has done, he is a man that cannot only be praised. How many sins have you committed? But David committed a great sin and was ashamed before the people, and he was an even greater sinner before God, but he honestly repented before God. When I did not repent, my heart seemed to be rotten, but after I repented, I became so free. Honesty is, on the one hand, that I have to admit the sins I have committed and go out and receive all the slander that comes from them. You should be able to get it very sweet. There is nothing wrong with calling a sinner a sinner. He is a person who has nothing to say even if he receives the criticism as it is. This means that you should no longer try to avoid the situation by lying. David had such honesty. Honesty of acknowledging mistakes and repenting, that is David's honesty.

Dear saints!

Because we do not know the freedom of honest people and the extreme of this happiness, we are groaning in the midst of many lies. There is nothing more beautiful than the joy of repentance, the testimony of one who restores honesty. You will feel the happiest when honesty is restored. It is our prayer that David prays in Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit in me."
