Title: The Value of Good Days

Content Title: The Value of Good Days

Bible: Mark 14:3-9

One woman in today's text, Mary, lived a life of high spiritual value. His worth was Jesus. He gave and poured out everything for him. Because Jesus was the absolute value, the highest value. What is your spiritual worth today? How much weight are you investing in Jesus? Aren't our values too centered on worldly and material things? I hope this will be a time of grace to confirm the current status of our own spiritual values.

First: We give you time to live

“While Jesus was eating at the house of Simon the leper in Bethany, a woman brought an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, pure nard, broke the jar and poured it on Jesus’ head” (verse 3). The place where Mary anointed with perfume was not at her own house, but at the house of Simon the leper in Bethany. Mary took time to anoint Jesus and went to Simon's house. Time for Jesus This is because the moment we give our time to Jesus, it becomes eternal time. A miracle of changing time into eternity happens.

Second: We provide valuable materials.

“I could have sold this perfume for more than three hundred denarii, and I could have given it to the poor,” he rebuked the woman” (verse 5). It cannot be recycled. From the point of view of Judas Iscariot, who does not know the spiritual value, it is an intolerable waste. So, he became angry and wasted, and severely rebuked Mary in front of Jesus. Because the saints experience grace and know the spiritual value, they give tithes and other material things, not because they have money, but because they know the spiritual value.

Third: I will give you all my strength (strength).

“She anointed my body with perfume and prepared for my burial in advance. I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told in remembrance of her” (8:8). Verse 9) It says “with all her might.” This is a moving word. If interpreted, it means 'with all that she has.' You will see absolute devotion to Jesus. We give time, but we can't give money. There are times when we give material things but not time. Mary could give everything for Jesus.
