Bible: Philippians 1:20-21 Title: Values of the Saints
What are values? According to the Korean dictionary, “It is the fundamental attitude of evaluation that human beings have toward the world including themselves and the thoughts within them.”
What values should a believer have?
1. Positive values
In 2 Corinthians 1:20, “All the promises of God are yes in Christ, so that through him we say Amen to the glory of God.”
Genesis 12:4 says, “So Abram went according to the word of the Lord, and Lot went with him.”
In Exodus 3:10, God said, “Go to Pharaoh!” Moses said, “Who am I that I should go and lead?”
In verse 12, God said, “Surely I will be with you.” Moses said in verse 13, “How shall I introduce God?”
In 16, God said, “Gather the elders” Moses 4:1 “They will not believe me”
4:2 “What is in your hand?” Moses “gathers the elders together at 4:29 and goes to Pharaoh at 5:1”
Let's see Paul.
He was a denial of Jesus.
After meeting the Lord on the road to Damascus, he becomes a person of Jesus.
And in today's text, "Whether I live or die, that Christ may be glorified in my body, and to live and to die for Christ's sake!"
Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh is faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. to live in.”
It is said that the elder stood still and worshiped, repenting of his mistakes and worshiping with tears. This is a positive value.
