Title: The Voice of God You Must Hear
The voice of God that must be heard (Jeremiah 6:16)
1. A voice telling you to know the good way
Knowing the good way is very important. With that attitude, the people that immediately come to mind are the Bereas of Acts 17. Since they were gentlemen, they received the word with earnest heart, and they searched the Bible daily to see if the word was true and believed it. The Bereans are gentlemen, in today's parlance, they are educated people.
Culture isn't just about etiquette. Even Christians need education. Of course, secular culture and Christian culture are slightly different. The worldly culture is to have a good horizontal relationship with people, but the Christian culture is to do well in both the vertical relationship with God and the horizontal relationship with people. There are three important things you need to know to have that kind of Christian culture.
1) I need to know that my change is important.
I don't have to change the environment, I have to change. Even if the environment changes, treatment changes, and the world changes, it is of no use if you do not change yourself. Happiness is in yourself, not in your environment.
I have changed many environments in my life so far, but through such experiences, I know that happiness does not consist in changing the environment. The cause of all unhappiness is the failure to control oneself. Simply put, “I’m sorry. Thank you. It's my fault!” but it's because I didn't do it. Humility brings many blessings and at the same time makes blessings blessings. The key to that humility is, “I have to change! Let me change my mind!” is the perception.
2) You must know that love is giving.
It is instinctive to want to be loved. So there is no creativity and no ability in a life that follows that instinct. Conversely, giving love is the true life of a believer, in which creativity, power, and infinite power for change are latent.
Stop obsessing over being loved. If you have to do what you have always done in a jealous and anxious way to receive someone's love, how do you get the love you've never received before? It is better to forget the love you are trying to receive. Instead, now try to love cleanly and make sacrifices. Also, try changing the concept of love to a love that gives pure and clean. Then a new world will unfold.
3) You must know the importance of loving your enemies.
What does it mean to love your enemies? It means to forgive the person who hurt you. Is it hard to just forgive? So, you have to change your thinking. How can we change our minds to forgive and love our enemies? If you get to know him, you can think that he has learned a lot of life lessons because of him. You can also think that because of that person, you came to know God and pray. So, although he didn't give the blessing, you can think of it as an opportunity for the blessing.
If you love your enemies, have faith that you will be most blessed because God is most pleased with that attitude. Love for enemies is like the highway of Zion that opens a direct relationship with God. I don't like the term 'direct prayer', but in fact, love for enemies is the best way to open a direct relationship with God and turn prayer into direct prayer. If you think of ‘the blessing of loving your enemies’ like that, it will be easier for you to enter the path of loving your enemies.
2. The voice that we should practice the good way
If you have found a good way, you must walk that way. What is the biggest reason people do not have peace in their hearts today? It is because they seem to know the good way, but they cannot walk in it. If you do not know the good way at all, your heart will be at ease. But you shouldn't be an ignorant person, because even if you are comfortable with that ignorance hurts many others. So try to know as much as you can, but don't stop there. Without knowledge and practice, there is no peace.
As much as you know the Word, try to put it into practice. Living according to the Word is distasteful, annoying, and sometimes burdensome, but when we live by the Word, the power of creation and change will arise in our lives, and God's blessings will overflow. Also, when there are people who have the belief that “if you die, you will die!” to accomplish God's will, the community will live.
God is pleased with faith in action. In general, those who know how to move immediately according to the Word will also move the heart of God. Real prayer moves not only God, but also the person who prays. After all, real prayer is ‘prayer that follows action’. If my actions do not follow, it is difficult to follow God's actions. If I don't move, usually God doesn't move either. So, after praying, be prepared to die and rush.
If you are prepared to die, God will give you more life. If you look closely, everyone is just trying to live and comfortable, so the real way to live is getting farther away. When we receive God's commands, obeying God's commands only when we like them, when it is convenient for us, and when obeying those commands is beneficial to us is not true obedience, and there is no blessing in such an attitude. However, if you are prepared to die and obey even the hard work that others do not want to do, the real way of life will be opened.
