The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God (1 Corinthians 1:18).

If you realize the Way of the morning, it is okay to die in the evening. (Confucius/Annals)

When a wise man hears the Tao, he works diligently.

The criminal seems to have forgotten the Tao

Wu Zi laughs out loud when he hears the Tao (Lao Tzu)

The Tao is the foundation of all things, the treasure of the good.

Those who are not good will be preserved by this (Lao-tzu)

Writing is a vessel that penetrates the Tao.

There is no one who is not deep in this, and there is no one who attains the Way

The way of the cross is the way of salvation, the way of eternal life and the grace of forgiveness.

It is the way of salvation that saves sinners that has been opened to mankind.

First, Christianity is a religion of the cross.

The symbol of Christianity is the cross

In order to save mankind, Jesus became the city (God became a man) and shed red blood on the cross as a perfect God and man without blemish and without blemish.

The prophet Isaiah once said, “He was pierced for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace, and his wounds we are healed.

We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of our company (Isaiah 53:5-6)

Second, the cross is the way to show the power of God.

The cross is the way of love, peace, and the power of atonement.

1. The cross is the way of love.

The love and mercy of Jesus, the justice of paying the price of sin to save mankind, is the cross of love.

If anyone believes in Jesus who died on the cross, he will receive the grace of forgiveness and

will be saved

“By this we know love, because he laid down his life for us, and we also ought to lay down our lives for our brothers (1 John 3:16).

2. The cross is the way of peace

A cross is a combination of two trees (horizontal and vertical). The cross achieves peace between God and man, reconciliation between man and man, unity of nation and nation, and peace between nation and nation.

Now you, who were formerly afar off, have been drawn near by the blood of Christ in Christ Jesus, for he is our peace, who made the two one and made the wall in between them... (Ephesians 2:13-16)

3. The cross is the way of atonement.

Human history has wandered in search of the way of atonement for sins.

Every effort has been made to settle this sin

From here, superstition, idolatry, and natural religion emerged, and human wisdom such as philosophy and science was mobilized, but the problem of sin could not be solved.

In order to solve original sin and self-crime, the Bible suggests that only God and a sinless person can fully satisfy the conditions of atonement.

For that purpose, the sexual desire of Jesus and the event of the cross were necessary.

“You know that the redemption from the deceitful conduct inherited from your forefathers

Not with perishable things like silver or gold, but without blemish and without spot.

with the precious blood of Christ as a lamb” (1 Peter 1:18-19).

Third, let us also take up our own crosses.

The spirit of the cross is the spirit of killing oneself and saving others.

Christians must follow the Lord by taking up the cross of sacrifice, service, and active love, imitating the cross of Jesus.

The Apostle Paul said, “I have determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified” (1 Corinthians 2:2).

“Jews ask for signs and Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Jesus crucified, to Jews foolishness…” (1 Corinthians 1:22-25)

Dear co-workers and saints, let's look at the cross of Jesus Christ, boast about that cross, and take up our crosses well.

The cross is the way of love, peace, and atonement.

Peace in the Lord
