Title: The Way to Meet God 2
Contents
[KJV] John 1:12 To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
you gave
If you don't let it go, you'll be worrying for nothing.
A man and his brother were sailing across the dangerous rapids that ran beneath the majestic Niagara Falls on the Canadian border. The waves rocked the boat so much that his brother was terrified. The older brother who looked at it asked the sailor who was rowing the boat as follows.
"How often have you crossed this place so far?"
"I've been doing this for 12 years now," he replied.
“Then, have you ever had an accident?”
"Never never."
"Then you mean that the ship capsized or there were no casualties?"
"Sir, that's never happened."
I emphasized the answer. Then the man saw his frightened brother and wisely reassured him, "Did you listen to what the sailor said? If you cannot row better than the sailor, sit quietly like me, trust the sailor and enjoy this journey." .
That's right. Faith is giving.
To be trusted, you must have solid evidence. What a proof that there have been no accidents in 12 years! When I hear these words, I feel relieved and cross the river.
It is the same with accepting Jesus. To accept Jesus is to believe that Jesus will surely save you. I leave it to Jesus. Am I surrendering myself to Jesus! Do you believe that Jesus will surely save you!
(Acts 4:12) There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Jesus is the only sure way of salvation given to mankind under heaven. Trust that Jesus will save me and trust me.
The problem is the mind that can't be entrusted with it. The parable of the sower in Luke 8 explains this well. Here, the four minds are explained. First, there is a heart that does not have faith at all. It is also known as the heart of the roadside. The devil comes and takes away the Word from a hard heart like the roadside. The foundation of faith is the Word. I can't believe that word after all. Second, the heart is like a rock. Believe it, but believe it for a while. This is likened to the word falling on a rock. When we hear the word, we receive it with joy, but it has no root, and when we are tested, we lose our faith and betray it. And third, I have a heart like a field of thorns. It is said that the worries, riches, and pleasures of this life are choked up, and they do not bear fruit. In other words, it means that we are not able to develop our faith because we have a lot of anxiety and worry. Fourth, we have a heart like the good land. Verse 15 tells us that those who hear the word with an honest and good heart, keep it, and bear fruit with patience.
A person who says he will believe and then gives up his faith as if he ever did when something difficult happens does not have the right faith. No matter what happens, we must keep our faith and live by that faith. I must surrender myself to Jesus until the end.
To do that, you must have a kind and good heart. Congratulations! Be kind and have a good heart! I hope you receive the word as it is, Amen. I bless you for accepting Jesus as you say.
Therefore, it is more important how much the Church of God has the right faith than the number.
It's a conversation between a mother and a little boy about three or four years old.
Kid: What is Mommy Samgyetang?
Mom: Yes, it is called samgyetang, which is boiled chicken with ginseng.
Kid: Oh! Samgyetang is boiled with ginseng.
Mom: Okay, now that
Kid: Yeah, Mom... So, is Yukgaejang by adding 6 and boiling it?
Mom : ??
It means that being a person of faith is more important than numbers. Because people with false beliefs are bound to leave the church someday. People in Jesus' day were like that.
In John 6:41 and below, Jesus said that he was the living bread that came down from heaven, and that he must eat this bread to gain eternal life, and that the bread is his own flesh. He said that we must eat the flesh and blood of the Son of Man to have eternal life and to raise him up on the last day. What was the reaction of those who heard these words? Many of the disciples who followed Jesus, saying it was difficult, withdrew and never walked with Jesus again. After all, they were people who did not really believe in Jesus. At that time, Jesus said to the 12 disciples, “Are you also going?” You ask.
(John 6:67) Jesus said to the twelve, Are you also going?
(John 6:68) Simon Peter answered and said, Lord, to whom shall we go?
(John 6:69) We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.
Jesus' disciples gave the right answer and continued to follow Jesus. But
(John 6:70) Jesus answered them, Have I not chosen you twelve? But one of you is a devil.
(John 6:71) These words refer to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot. He is one of the twelve, to betray Jesus.
Jesus pointed out that among the 12 disciples, there were still some who did not believe in Jesus. Judas Iscariot he eventually betrayed Jesus.
Who has the right faith? Those who believe and accept Jesus. Have you believed and accepted Jesus? If so, then he is clearly a disciple of Jesus. Where is the path where True Friends Church is established? In this way, it is to increase the number of people who have clear faith, who have believed and accepted Jesus. Those who have that faith will live as disciples of Jesus. I beg you to send more people like this.
But not having such faith is a sin.
Moreover, Jesus tells us that he is leaving the disciples who had believed in him. Can you believe in Jesus? The hearts of the disciples were full of sorrow. But Jesus tells his disciples that it is better for him to leave. At that time, he explained that it is because the Holy Spirit, the Comforter, comes and guides us into all truth. The Holy Spirit rebukes the world, and he will rebuke you for not believing in Jesus.
That's right. It was not easy to believe in Jesus at that time, but it clearly states that not believing is a sin.
Even today, it may not be easy to believe in Jesus. If you believe in Jesus, follow Him, and live for Him, you will ultimately be the happiest person, but you may experience many difficulties because of those who do not want to follow Him. Nevertheless, we must believe and receive Jesus the same way we did in the days of Jesus and now. This is because then you will not sin, and only then will you become the happiest person.
That's right. What are the results of this belief? You will enjoy blessings.
100 sparrows flew and sat on the power line. The gunner aimed his gun and fired, but only the sparrow in the front didn't get hit, and the remaining 99 were all shot down at once. The words of the surviving sparrow flapping its wings,
Mister! I'll drive you again!
They all died while following the previous sparrow! But if you believe and follow Jesus, you will all be blessed!
(Galatians 3:29) If ye belong to Christ, ye are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Anyone who believes in Jesus becomes a descendant of Abraham. To be a descendant of Abraham means to receive and enjoy all the blessings God has given to Abraham.
(Genesis 12:1) And the LORD said to Abram, "Leave your land, your relatives, and your father's house, and go to the land I will show you.
(Gen 12:2) I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
(Genesis 12:3) I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples of the earth will be blessed in you.
God is a God of blessing. God promised Abraham that he would make a great nation. He said that he would make it a source of blessing. This blessing has been given to us who believe in Jesus. We will make a great nation. He will cause countless people who believe in God to rise because of us. So we will make it a source of blessing. Many people will be blessed through us. What a wonderful and blessed life this is!
What is the source of good fortune? Jacob wanted to be blessed by his father Isaac.
(Ge 27:12) If my father touches me, I will be seen as a deceiver to my father, lest I be cursed, let alone a blessing.
(Genesis 27:13) His mother said to him, "My son, I will put your curse on me; only do what I say, and go and bring it."
To Jacob, his father Isaac was a source of blessing. Only through Isaac could we receive blessings. So Jacob deceived his father Isaac and went to ask for a blessing. The same is true. Through faith in Jesus, we became the source of blessing. Others will be blessed through me. Just as Jacob wanted to go to Isaac and be blessed, so now I will be like Isaac and hope that people will come to me and be blessed. What is that? It means that you believe in Jesus through me and your faith grows. In this way, it means meeting Hannah, who is the blessing, and living in this world, enjoying the blessings that God has given.
Let me finish my speech. There are a lot of people who live in this world with needless worries. What is the way out of this concern? We entrust everything to Jesus, our true Savior. Then you can live a peaceful and happy life. For that, the heart is important. It must be a believing heart and a trusting heart. how? To be kind and have a good heart. how? When you hear the word of God, you receive it with “Amen!”. accept it as it is. That is, believing in and accepting Jesus. And keep that word. Following Jesus, for Jesus’ sake, we must become the most humane person who lives like that.
The number of the Church of God is more important than the number of such beliefs. Because people who do not have this kind of faith will someday leave the church. Unbelief is a sin. It will harm those who have the right faith. What are the results of this belief? You will receive blessings from God who blesses you. And it becomes the source of the blessing that delivers that blessing. It is done to me by believing in Jesus, and it is also done to them by helping others to believe in Jesus. I bless all of us who enjoy this blessing and live as a source of blessings that share them.
