Title: The Way to Satisfaction
Contents
▒▒▒▒ Psalm 131:1~3
Jeremiah Boros said: “Gratitude or contentment is like a precious jewel.” Living with contentment and gratitude means living a life embracing precious things as if you had precious jewels. Another meaning is that life is not as easy to get as a precious jewel.
In the beginning, everything in the Garden of Eden was satisfactory to the extent that God created the heavens, the earth, and all things and people, and said that it was pleasing to the eye. Nevertheless, Adam and Eve committed the sin of eating the forbidden fruit in the center of the garden. The Israelites, who had been slaves in Egypt for 430 years, were politically stateless, socially the lowest class, and economically impoverished tribe of Hebrews. Such Israel was able to advance toward the land of Canaan through God's work. With the destruction of the impregnable Jericho city, the land of Canaan was right in front of us. But Achan not only hid gold and silver there, but also the cloak of Shinar. In this way, we come to realize that it is very difficult for a person to live satisfied even if he has a lot.
Gentlemen, when we look to God, there is joy, satisfaction, and gratitude.
