Title: The Way to Spiritual Growth
Contents
Everything that has life must grow or grow. Animals, plants, and humans are the same. What would happen if a puppy was born and never grew up? How would a farmer feel if a cow was born and it didn't grow? How much disappointment would the owner of the field be if the peppers were planted in the field and the peppers did not grow and the peppers did not open?
The same goes for believers. Faith must grow. Faith must grow.
Why! Need to grow your faith? Because the question has a reason.
(1) Faith “pleases God”.
(2) Faith “controls the environment”.
(3) Faith “changes the circumstances of life”.
(4) Faith “makes us move forward the more we are frustrated”.
(5) Faith “turns every adversity into a blessed opportunity in life”.
(6) Faith “becomes the blessed step of courage and challenge”.
(7) Faith “controls action”.
(8) Faith is “the vertical resource of life”.
If this is the case, then the seeds of faith have been sown in the field of grace. What should we do to grow our faith well? In particular, today, I would like to share grace with you by presenting 8 important points on the path of spiritual growth.
1. It is to keep Sunday holy.
Keeping Sunday is the most basic thing to grow in faith. It is also necessary to keep Sunday holy. God has clearly commanded us through His Word.
Exodus 20:10-11 “The seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God: you shall not do any work, neither you nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, or your female servant, nor your cattle, nor the stranger who sojourns in your gates, for in six days the Lord and the earth and the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore I the LORD blessed the sabbath and made it holy.”
2. Attending worship without missing out on it.
Worship is an encounter with God. Worship is a time to listen to the Word of God coming down from above. Worship success is life success. If you regularly attend worship services, your faith will grow.
Romans 12:1-2 says, “Therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. But be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the will of God, which is good, pleasing, and perfect.”
John 4:23-24 says, “The hour is coming, and now is, when those who truly worship the Father will worship Him in spirit and truth. The Father is looking for those who worship Him like this. God is a Spirit, and those who worship Him are spirit and truth. You shall worship with
3. Studying the Bible daily.
You must read, listen, keep, learn, meditate, and believe the Word. This is when your faith grows. Revelation 1:3 says, “Blessed are those who read and hear the words of this prophecy, and those who keep what is written in them, for the time is near.”
In Acts 17:11 it says, “The Bereas were more gentle than those in Thessalonica, and they received the word with eagerness of heart, and searched the Scriptures daily to see if this was so.” Believers should read it prayerfully every day and make bold changes in their lives.
4. Pray without ceasing.
If you pray, your faith will surely grow. Jesus also told us to always watch and pray.
Romans 12:12 says, “Rejoice in hope, be patient in afflictions, be steadfast in prayer.”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 says, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in everything, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
5. Serve the church.
Faith grows when you serve the church with joy and gratitude.
Romans 12:11 says, “Do not be lazy in diligence, but be zealous and serve the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 4:1-2 says, “Let men ought to consider us workers of Christ and entrusters of the mysteries of God, and what we should ask of those entrusted with them is fidelity.”
6. We must love each other.
The church is a community of believers. We must love, care for and help each other.
1 Peter 3:8-9 says, “Finally, all of you be of one mind and compassion; love your brother, have compassion, be humble, not repaying evil for evil or reviling for insult, but rather bless you; for this purpose you You have been called, so that you may inherit a blessing.”
7. You must give a tithing offering.
God even told us to try tithing. Tithing is the source (seed) of material blessings.
8. You must always do evangelism.
Evangelism not only makes our faith grow more and more, but God's grace and blessings come together.
Romans 12:10 says, “With the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made, resulting in salvation.”
Dear saints,
This year, I pray that your faith will grow to please God as well as the wonderful hand of the Lord's blessings be with you at home, at work, and in your business.
