Title: The wicked/27:1-21
Contents
The Bible says (Psalm 14:2-3) that the Lord looks down from heaven to see if there are any who have understanding and seek God.
All have turned aside, and together they have become unclean; there is no one who does good, not even one.
In other words, all human beings are sinners, with no exceptions. Therefore, in Christianity, a sinner is not a special person. However, the Bible also mentions 'sinners among sinners' among these universal sinners. In the text, they are specifically called 'wicked'. These are sinners who are not forgiven by God even though they are the same. We cannot receive the mercy and mercy of God, who is abundant and abundant. What is the evil in the text?
1. Not an immoral person, but a person of unbelief.
There is no one in the world who has committed a great sin that is unforgivable by God, and there is no need
No one has committed such a small sin. That person is a man of unbelief.
There is no reason. (Romans 1:19) For the things that may be known of God are revealed in them, and God has revealed them to them. If the sin of immorality is a sin that originates in human relationships, the sin of unbelief is a sin that originates in relationship with God.
2. It is not a person who has not sinned, but a person who has not repented.
What I realized while looking at the words of Psalm 14 is that human beings have become like beings born to sin. Just as God covered Adam, who sinned by law, with the skin of a lamb, so the Passover lamb was sent to cover all mankind's shame due to their sins.
you have given Therefore, what is important to us is not what sins we have committed in the past, but whether we have repented of them. God will not condemn those who have sinned, but those who do not repent as 'wicked'.
3. It is not a person who does not admit sins, but a person who does not change his behavior.
A typical name is 'Judas Iscariot'. I knew my own great crime. At least he didn't have a burnt conscience. But he did not know how to depart from his sins.
Rather, he committed suicide by adding more sin to sin. In contrast, a person who
It is 'Zacchaeus'. He has forsaken his sins. Thus, he was recognized as a descendant of Abraham. Therefore, the lesson we can learn from these facts is not whether or not who acknowledged their sin, but whether or not his conduct became holy after meeting Jesus or whether there was no change at all.
4. It is not a person who has not received grace at all, but a person who cannot bear the grace that has been received.
'Even though the wicked find favor, they do not learn righteousness.' It is not a wicked person who does not receive a remarkable and miraculous grace from God. Rather, the wicked are people who, despite receiving great grace and blessings, cannot bear the grace. A person whose life does not follow the grace and blessings that God has given him. Therefore, he is a person who has no fruit in his life. Whether it is faith or works, he is a person who has absolutely nothing to offer to him.
