Ecclesiastes 7:11-18.
11 Wisdom is beautiful as inheritance, and it is to the benefit of those who see the sun. 12 "To be under the shadow of wisdom is as under the shadow of money,
The knowledge of wisdom is more profitable, because it gives life to the wise." 13 Look at what God does, who can straighten what God has crooked? 14 Rejoice in days of prosperity, and look back in days of trouble. the branch God
in parallel, so that no one was able to fathom his future, 15 while I was living my vain days, I looked at all of them.
There are righteous who perish in spite of their righteousness, and in spite of their evil deeds
There are the wicked who live long; 16 Do not be overly righteous and do not be overly wise.
Why should you make yourself fall? 17 Don't be too wicked, and don't be too foolish.
Why do you want to die before the due date? 18 It is better that you take hold of this one, and that you do not let go of your hand in that one.
For those who fear God will escape from all these things.
* Wisdom includes high wisdom, that is, spiritual wisdom given by God and
There is worldly wisdom, which is low wisdom.
1. First, worldly wisdom (James 3:13-18)
13 Who among you has wisdom and understanding?
Show your works with the gentleness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and strife in your hearts, do not boast.
Do not lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom did not come down from above.
It is earthly, of lusts, of demons. 16 For where there is envy and strife, there is confusion and every evil thing. 17 But the wisdom from above is first sanctified, then peaceable and tolerant.
Gentle, full of mercy and good fruit, without prejudice and deceit. 18 Peacemakers sow in peace and reap the fruit of righteousness.
2. True wisdom comes from God. (Colossians 2:2-3)
2 that they may be comforted in their hearts, and be united in love
All the riches of this sure year, and the secrets of God,
for the understanding of Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
3. Any Way to Wisdom
In James 1:5
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, give generously to all.
Ask God, who does not reproach, and it will be given to you (Ephesians 3:10).
10 It is now given to the rulers and authorities in heaven by the church
that the various wisdom of God might be made known, 2 Timothy 3:15
14 But abide in the things you have learned and have been convinced of. You know from whom you have learned them, 15 and you have known the Scriptures since childhood
for wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed for teaching, for reproof, for correction,
useful for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be perfected for every good work
in order to be empowered
