The wisdom of partnership (Galatians 2:1~21)
The hardest thing in the world is loneliness.
There is nothing more difficult and painful than being in a group and not being able to get along.
Jesus also worked with his disciples on this earth. And he made friends with sinful people and led them to God.
When he sent out his disciples, he sent them out two by two.
(1) Fourteen years later, I and Barnabas took Titus and went up again to Jerusalem.
The Apostle Paul, too, does not work alone like a single fire general, but works together with his colleagues.
But look at our times these days.
It has become a society where individualism has developed and people are reluctant to gather. The sense of community is gradually fading, and the consciousness that only I can do well is growing stronger.
This is the scheme of the evil demons.
(4) This is because of false brothers who came in secretly, that they might spy on our freedom in Christ Jesus and make us slaves.
The evil devil tries to separate those who are trying to get together and try to separate them no matter what.
At the last entrance service, Japanese men came, and they turned out to be Unification Church officials. He came to spy out. It is to be wary of becoming one in the love of Christ and the restoration of the kingdom of God. By corrupting the gospel, they seem to love the church and God, but in reality, they are all poor souls who will go to hell.
It is faith and action that allow us to stand upright in the Word without being deceived by these false brothers.
You can never become a Christian just by doing good deeds without faith. Because not believing in God and not believing in Jesus is not good in itself. We do good deeds and live good lives because Christ is good and Jehovah God who made us is good.
But if you do what the world says is good without believing in God, it means nothing. The Unification Church and other cults also do many good things. However, such actions have absolutely nothing to do with life in heaven.
Then there is faith with action.
If you say you believe in Jesus and your life is dirtier than other people in the world and you are being pointed at, that person has not yet accepted Jesus.
I quit smoking for my wife when I was dating before. Just because my wife hates cigarettes. At that time, there was nothing else I could do about it.
If you love your partner like this, you will live the life the other person wants.
That's why what I say to young people is to evangelize your partner when you're dating.
If you love, you can pick up the stars in the sky.
However, there are some young people who don't go to church because they love each other and go out on a date. I see brothers and sisters who not only take advantage of the best opportunity, but also cut off their own faith.
A Christian who has faith must be manifested in his actions.
If there is someone who believes in Jesus but doesn't seem to act like that, please pray for him so that the work of being born again can happen.
Only those who are born again can see the Lord.
When I say this, there are people who think that they have to do well to receive salvation. It's not like that.
(16) Knowing that a person is not justified by works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ, we also have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified not by works of the law, but by faith in Christ. For by the works of the law there is no flesh to be justified.
We are not called righteous because we do good works, but because we have been saved through Jesus Christ, we are thankful for it and share it with goodness and love and live, and because Christ is in us, we are called righteous.
Is Christ in you? Then you are righteous. Because of Jesus who is in you, you will lead a better life today than yesterday and tomorrow than today.
When you say this, there are other people who say the same thing.
I was saved because I believed hard...
Sinners are justified... all... I!! I was justified by believing...
I!! If I hadn't believed... There are people who emphasize the merits of faith...
Such an attitude is very wrong before God.
The point is Jesus.
Don't be mistaken, humbly give thanks, and you and I should be the only ones who give all credit to the Lord.
There is a Bible verse that I love to memorize in verse 20.
(20) I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
The greed, desire, envy, and jealousy I had in the past were crucified and died when Jesus was crucified. Now, with the resurrected Jesus, I too have been reborn into the world.
This is called being born again.
It is about throwing away old habits and evil habits and being born anew.
Because Jesus is in me, I am no longer living according to my will, but living by faith in Jesus.
In the name of Jesus, I pray that my will will not be fulfilled and that you and I will become co-workers who always live the life the Lord wants and intends.
