The wise life/Romans 12:1-2
Time flows endlessly before us like flowing water. Our lives, sent to this earth, flow like a flowing stream, and we continue to live in a world of ever-changing change until the youth reach old age and the moment when all our lives in this world are over. In living in this world, we must live a wise life without wasting time. Then, we would like to share grace together while pondering the Word of what kind of life is a wise life.
First, it is a life of giving one's body to God.
“Therefore, brethren, I beseech you by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship” (verse 1). It's about living a life you give. The value and fruit of our body are different depending on who and for what purpose our body is used. Some people live immersed in the pleasures, amusements, and contacts of this world. Some people live as slaves to material things (money). There are people who live as slaves because their whole life is possessed by demons and evil spirits. There are people who call in demons every day and become slaves to them.
Today, you and I, I pray in the name of Jesus, that you may be used by God by fully dedicating this body before God. When God uses it, he gives wisdom to the foolish and uses it. He gives power to the incompetent and uses it. A low character is used high.
Romans 12:11 says, "Do not be lazy in diligence, but be zealous and serve the Lord." The life of serving the Lord with zeal while living a diligent life before God is the life of giving our body. A life that is used by the Lord is a life that is given to the Lord. I pray that your daily life will become a life that is related to God. Investing in this world, we must not waste our time, money, and heart in such a place that has nothing to do with darkness, iniquity, injustice, or truth. 'Lord, take me into captivity. Lord, please use it. Help me to do your will. May it bear fruit that pleases You.' In this way, we believe that we should always pray and cry out to God. Those who are used by the Lord always have hope.
Romans 12:12 says, 'Rejoice in hope'. A person who commits a sin for the sake of the world and lives with all his energy when it is not necessary will show a sense of despair and emptiness even in his dreams, and he wakes up and has no joy in his heart. Look at the world without God. No matter how advanced the material economy is, the Japanese are not happy with their facial expressions. Without God, even if they live in a large house like a palace, their expressions are serious and there is no joy. However, those who are with God will always have prayers of praise and thanksgiving, overflowing with hope, whether in difficult times or wealth, alone or in the public.
Second, it is a life that does not follow this generation.
“Do not be conformed to this generation” (v. 2). The phrase ‘do not be conformed to’ here means ‘do not be stained, do not be subject to, do not follow.’ May you always hold on to you with the Holy Spirit of the Lord so that you do not become contaminated with all that is sinful, unclean, false, and corrupt. You don't know how many things are unclean in this world. God is a God of justice. Believe that God will surely make you reap what you sow. These days, in any country, many corruption, corruption, corruption, these factors are uncovered. We need to have a beautiful life where we can live happily for each other's happiness while coexisting together. We should not envy or covet this corrupting world, but in order to live a more beautiful, honest and clean life, we should always look at our own lives and reflect on our lives with the word of God as if we were looking at our faces in a mirror. I bless you in the name of the Lord that you will always have a beautiful life as you repent and correct it mercilessly in times of need.
In Matthew 17:17 we read, "Jesus answered and said to them, 'O faithless and rebellious generation, how long I am with you, and how long will I endure you." God does not allow humans to remain in this faithless and rebellious generation. Just as dried persimmons will come to an end someday when they are full, God judges and disciplines them when their sins are full. I hope that you will always bear only the fruit of righteousness, the fruit of the Holy Spirit, and the fruit that pleases God.
In Matthew 12:45 it says, "He went and brought in seven demons more evil than the other, and they came in and dwelled there, and the man's condition afterward is worse than before. So it will be with this evil generation." This generation is the age in which the demons last strike. That is why we must not imitate this generation so that we do not become polluted. Today, if we do not have Jesus in our heart, evil things will infiltrate anyone. The more difficult we are, the more we have to hear 'Lord'.
Also, 2 Timothy 3:2 says, “People love themselves, they love money, they are proud, they are proud, they are slanderers, they are disobedient to their parents, they are unthankful, they are unholy.” In the last days, people do not like to walk the righteous path. I like to do things out of the ordinary. Today, this is a sign of the last days. God said, "The love of money is the root of all evil, and those who longed for it have been deceived, and have erred from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows" (1 Timothy 6:10).
In order not to imitate this generation, we must not place any value on power or honor that is important in the world. We must walk according to the Holy Spirit who dwells in the saints and forsake the works of the flesh (Romans 8:4-6).
Third, it is a life that renews the mind.
“But be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God” (verse 2b). A wise life is a life with a new heart. Ephesians 4:22-24 says, “Put off the old man, which is corrupt according to the lusts of deceit, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, which after God was created in righteousness and holiness of truth. ." he said. We have an old heart that follows the old customs. There is hatred and envy, pride and evil thoughts. I pray that you will give up all the habits, dispositions, and evil thoughts and actions you had in your old sinful life and change spiritually.
When the heart is troubled, everything looks painful and there is no satisfaction. But if the heart is happy, everyone seems happy. See the world with the love and joy of Jesus. This world will be seen as enjoyable and beautiful as it is. Again, treat it with a good heart. Everything will be pitiful. Also, be honest with yourself. Everything looks good and looks great.
Today we must be transformed and renew our minds. What can be renewed? You can be renewed by the word of God. "With what shall a young man cleanse his conduct? He will take heed to the word of the Lord" (Psalm 119:9).
We can be renewed by the Holy Spirit coming into our hearts. “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth; he will not speak on his own, but will speak what he hears, and will make known to you things to come” (John 16:13).
Confessing and repenting of our sins can make us new. “Peter said to him, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). There is no one righteous on this earth (Romans). 3:10). All are sinners. We believe that only those who repent before God will give us a new heart. I pray that all the things that were not worthy before God in the past, all our examination of our words and actions will be illuminated before the light of the Lord, so that at this time today, all sins will be washed away by the blood of the cross, quenched by the fire of the Holy Spirit, forgiven, and moved as far from east as from west . I pray that all the unhappiness blocked by sin will be broken by the Holy Spirit at this time.
Today, a miracle of the heart arises, and a heart like a roadside, a heart like a stone field, and a heart like a thornbush become like soil, and you must discern what God's good, pleasing, and perfect will is, and live a wise life.
Dear saints!
Giving your body to God with joy so that it can be used for God's glory, uncontaminated by this faithless and rebellious generation, repenting of your sins and being transformed by renewing your mind with God's Word and Holy Spirit, living a wise life bless you in the name of Jesus.
