Title: The Word of God
Contents
The Word that was with God is the life of God. It is written, “He alone has immortality, and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see; give him honor and eternal power, amen” (1 Timothy 6:16). It's like a word.
Therefore, it is written, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning, and all things were made through him, and nothing that was made was made without him. In him was life, and the life was the light of men” (John 1:1-4).
Since the Word of God is eternal life, the Word of the only true God who exists has no beginning, but in the beginning was the Word of the Father given to the Son of God, so it is written, “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.” That's what you did.
It is written, “As for the word of life, which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon and touched with our hands, concerning the word of life, which we have seen, and this life has been manifested, we have seen and testify of this eternal life, and we declare it to you, He was with the Father and was revealed to us. What we have seen and heard, we are also telling you so that you may have fellowship with us, which we have fellowship with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ” (1 John 1:1). -3) It is more clear from the evidence you did.
Therefore, the Word from the beginning became flesh and dwelt among us, the only begotten Son of God, Christ Jesus, “just as the Father has life in himself, so he gave the Son to have life in him as well, and because of his mercy he gave the authority to judge” John 5:26-27) and testified about the truth.
Therefore, Christ Jesus, who came in the flesh, testified, "Do not let your hearts be troubled, because you believe in God, believe also in me" (John 14:1) and again “He who does not love me does not keep my words; the words you hear are not mine, but the words of the Father who sent me” (John 14:24). Eternal life is to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent” (John 17:3).
Not only that, he said to the Father, “I have given them the words you gave me, and they have received these and have truly known that I am from you, and have believed that you sent me” (John 17:8). It is what you said.
Because this is the word of God, it is written, “God, who in ancient times spoke to our fathers in various parts and in various ways through the prophets, has spoken to us in these last days as a Son, who has appointed him heir of all things, and made him Through him he created all the worlds” (Hebrews 1:1-2). Amen, thank you Lord.
