Title: The Work of God's Servant
God's Servant Work
Titus 1:1-4,
Chapters 355.379.382, &
When Paul wrote his letter, he always revealed his relationship with God and the Lord Jesus Christ. He never had any doubts about his identity or his goals. He was concerned only with Christ and his glorious gospel, which gave eternal life to mankind.
From the time he was saved until his death, Paul carried out his mission as a servant of God and a messenger of the Lord Jesus Christ. The purpose of this text is to reveal that Paul is a servant of God. Therefore, this is a very important piece of the work of the servant of God.
Because humans hate being the servants of others the most. But Paul clearly argued so. Rather, he proudly said that he was a servant of God. So, what did Paul mean by servant?
(1) What Paul means is the fact that he is totally owned by God. God called Paul the world, the slave market, sin and death. He knew that he was trapped in the bondage of life's pain and trials. And God had mercy on Paul.
Therefore, God bought Paul with a price. Thus, Paul was a servant of God wholly owned by God. (2) What Paul meant is that his will belonged entirely to God. Paul obeyed God completely and was faithful to God's will.
(3) What Paul meant is that he held the greatest, most honorable, and noble office in the world.
