Title: The World Before Jesus' Second Coming
Contents br> We do not know when Jesus, who has risen and ascended to heaven according to the Bible, will come back to this earth as promised. But it is certain that He will come to this earth again. Because he promised to come again. The Bible did not say when He would come again in ○ year ○ month ○ day ○ hour, but it did speak specifically about the appearance of the world before His return. God's children need to know this. It is because only when you know this fact can you discern the times and make preparations to meet Jesus who will come again happy. The world before Jesus came is often called the end of the world, or the last days.
“When Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him in silence, saying, ‘Tell us, when will these things be? :3)
Thus, we can look at the signs of the end of the world that the Bible speaks of and realize how close the Second Coming of Jesus is compared to the present world we live in. I would like to focus on Matthew 24 about the appearance of the end of the world before the second coming of Jesus.
1. Many false Christs and false prophets have appeared and deceive many people.
Jesus Himself said:
“Many will come in my name and say, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many” (Matthew 24:5).
“Many false prophets will arise and deceive many” (Matthew 24:11).
“At that time if someone says to you, ‘Look, here the Christ is, or there he is,’ do not believe it” (Matthew 24:23).
“False christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect” (Matthew 24:24).
“If people say to you, ‘Behold, the Christ is in the wilderness, do not go out; if they say, ‘Behold, in the closet’, do not believe” (Matthew 24:26).
According to the words of Jesus, false Christs and false prophets are many, not just one or two, but dozens or hundreds or even thousands. “Many came in my name, saying, I am the Christ” (Matthew 24:5), “Many false prophets arose” (Matthew 24:11)
In the last days, under the power of the devil, they perform great signs and wonders to deceive many people. The tragic fact is that even “the believers” are deceived by them. Jesus said.
“False Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, and if possible they will deceive the elect” (Matthew 24:24).
2. There are many wars and rumors of war in the end times.
Jesus said. “You will hear wars and rumors of wars, but take heed and do not be afraid. These things must happen, but the end is not yet; nations will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom” (Matthew 24:6-7)
People wrote down Micah 4:3 at the UN headquarters. “They will strike their swords into plowshares, and their spears into sickles, and one nation and another will never again take up their swords and strike each other, and they will practice war no more.” There is no day for war to end, so there is no mention of war. The Society of International Law based in London stated that only 268 of the past 4,000 years of human history have been a period of peace without war. In spite of the fact that there have been as many as 8,000 peace treaties, mankind has waged such a war. Since 3,600 BC, there have been about 14,530 wars on Earth, and about 3.64 billion people have died in those wars. The cost of the war was the same as the cost of one round of the earth on a highway that was about 100 meters thick and 90 miles wide of pure gold. There have been 286 major and minor wars in Europe alone over the past century. During World War II (1939-1945), 54.8 million people were killed, and in Poland, 6028,000 people, or 22.2% of the total population, died during the war. Six million Jews were poisoned in Auschwitz. The cost of the war was 3.5 trillion dollars.
This money was enough to cover 1.5 million missionaries for 100 years. The United States also dropped an atomic bomb on Japan as a way to end World War II, killing 23,700 people in Nagasaki and injuring 40,000 with one atomic bomb on August 9, 1945. First of all, on August 6, three days ago, 247,000 people in Hiroshima had already been killed and 130,000 people were injured. During the last three years of 1967-70, the war in Biafra, an African nation, killed 2 million people and 500,000 people starved to death. Since World War II, there have been 12 local wars, 39 political assassinations, and 74 independence wars. World military spending was $500 billion a year in 1970, but it was $800 billion in the 1980s and a whopping $950 billion in 1990. In the development of nuclear weapons, the United States first succeeded in making the first atomic bomb in 1945, after starting research in England in 1932.
