Title: These Are His Commandments
The 10 commandments of the Law, which Moses received after fasting for 40 days on Mount Sinai, were engraved on two other stones. Moses came down with the two stones, one of which had the four commandments written on it.
The first is that there should be no other gods besides me. In other words, it emphasizes monotheism. Second, do not worship idols. That is, to serve only God. Third, do not take my name in vain, that is, honor my holy name. Fourth, remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.
And from the fifth it was engraved on another tombstone. The first, the fifth commandment, is to respect your parents. In other words, it means smoothing out human relationships. Six beggars were engraved here: the sixth, Thou shalt not steal, the seventh, do not commit adultery, then do not murder, do not covet your neighbour's, and so on.
From the first to the fourth, we focus on the direct relationship between God and me, that is, to fear God, and the fifth to the tenth emphasize the relationship with people, that is, the duty we should do and love. To sum it all up, it is to love the God above with all your heart, mind, strength, and devotion, and then love your neighbor on earth as yourself. It is said in Matthew 22 that this is the law and the great program of the prophets.
In the end, the word love can summarize the Old and New Testaments and define Christianity.
"His commandment is this, and this is love. The Lord gives you a new commandment: Love one another."
By the way, we use the word love and try to practice it every day, but it doesn't work well to make it difficult. The person who hates me can love, but it is not easy to love the person who hates me. In other words, I can forgive those who hate me, but I cannot forgive those who hate me.
The problem is in the mind. The standard of love or hate lies in my heart. That's why people often say, 'How can I do something that doesn't make love?'
I was holding a church meeting in New York, and it was a single missionary group called ‘Single Mission’. I attended a special lecture and had a conversation, and I overheard someone talking. He went to America and served as a professor for 30 years, but his wife said that he had left the house. I took the children to the meeting, and they were eagerly waiting for their mother to return.
The husband who became a husband was also regretting that he had to fight so hard that he had to endure a little more. Later, the wife called the pastor. When the pastor said, "Where are you? Come back soon," he said, "I don't know why you came out packing a bag that you just have to wait a little longer."
I'm sorry. Love between husband and wife is caring for each other. Love is not a demand. Love is letting go. Don't use 'I'. No marriage, no love. Marriage isn't about finding the right mate, it's about being the right mate. Before getting married, when you look at the line, you say that you are short or tall, and if you date, you openly criticize yourself saying that you came late for an appointment, and that can lead to a breakup.
But once you do this marriage, the sticky glue of love bonds the existence of two men and women. makes me feel good. After getting married, living together for the rest of your life, understanding and loving your own body even when your husband gets sick or your wife is in trouble due to childbirth is love. The Lord said. Love is not something you do with your own strength, it is something you do with the strength God gives you. You can do it easily if you do it with the fleshly strength that God provides.
Bowling is all the rage these days. It is said that when bowling, you should not use your strength and effort. It is said that the ball itself has power and the ball itself has three rings, so the dynamics are naturally created.
So if I let it push me by that force, it rolls on its own, but if I try to do it, my hand is prone to sprains and falls.
The same is true of God's work. A heart of love or forgiveness does not arise spontaneously within me. The Bible tells me not to do this in my own strength, which I hate. The word of the Lord said, “Ask of me, for I have the love and the Holy Spirit and the faith.”
This commandment of love is not difficult and heavy. God said, "I overcome the world. It is faith that overcomes the world." This power of praying, “Lord, give me strength to forgive my brother,” is faith. These are the words to ask God.
We often say what we like, both verbally and with our tongue. Verse 18 says, “Children, do not love in word or in tongue, but in truth and in deed.”
A little child is eating sweets. I asked for some and they gave me cancer. So you give the child a problem. "Do you want to be a good child, or do you want to be a bad child?" Then they answer ‘good boy’. "Now, let's say Cheol-su and Young-hee are together. Cheol-su and Yeong-hee shared a snack. So, are these two bad friends or good friends?" The child says 'good friends'. “Then, can you be a good child if you share cookies, or can you become a good child if you eat them all alone?” I asked him to share cookies to be a good child. So, "Do you want to be a good kid?" I asked and he said yes. But when I say, "Then give me that cookie," they say no. I know it's good. I know it's good, but I don't do it, I know it's good to give, but I hate it.
This is our common heart.
I give a sermon. Come on, everyone. For your health, get up in the morning and attend the morning prayer meeting. Then go jogging and read the Bible. Dress well. Take a deep breath. Be careful when crossing the street, and when you are hungry, wipe your mouth and look in the mirror. Come to church. Don't sleep. Drink water when you are thirsty.
This sermon has nothing to do with it. It is a sermon that does not impress. Sermons like this one by one, with stupid, stupid words and tongues, are not moving at all.
Does the couple's love become verbal and tongue-in-cheek? Love is self-defeating. If there is no love between the couple, how can they mix flesh and harm their 60s for the rest of their lives? It is love between parents and children. It is also love between husband and wife. It is giving, yielding, and patience. When things don't work out in my own strength, I pray to God. Give me a heart to love God. Give me a heart to forgive. It is said that false love is at the tip of the tongue, and true love is at the tip of the finger. What's the use of saying a thousand good words?

Then the manager said, 'No. It was God's will that this happened. How can we disobey what God is doing? We just watch what God is doing, so let’s see how God works.” He did his best to put his eyes and kidneys into the drug patient.
Upon waking up a few days later, a relaxed smile appeared on the drug patient's distorted face. It is the story of how soon he accepted Jesus and abstained from alcohol and drugs, becoming a member of a church where doctors attend and becoming a deacon. This was from a record the intern wrote, titled 'God's Smile'. He found the smile of God on the face of the drunken drug addict waking up.
But in the US, kidneys are bought and sold. There is a broker in the middle, so you only get 5 million won in commission. What in the world does this happen? How can you buy and sell eyes, organs, kidneys, blood? Without faith and without love, it can be.
“His commandment is this, love.” It is such a love. What a thrill it is that a life died in a car accident, but his eyes and kidneys were passed on to a man who was sacrificing again, but he accomplished what this son could not do and became a deacon of the church! I hope you all receive this gift of love. Amen.
I lack strength, but if I pray to God, he will give me. Lord, give me a heart to love. Give me the gift of love. Or is there someone among you who builds walls and hates you at work, at church, at home, among friends? We must release it before we die. People do not know when they will die.
