Title: Things more precious than sacrifices
The work of the devil also has wisdom and loyalty. And there are abilities. But the devil has no love. And it is very distasteful to live lovingly. In the Garden of Eden, Adam was at peace with God and spent happy days with Eve horizontally. Seeing this, the devil was very uncomfortable. So God and Adam and the couple were at odds. It is a complaint against the covenant made with God. The devil has come and causes discontent in Eve's heart. The devil speaks. God told us to eat all other fruits, but not to eat only the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. By the way, I added a sneak peek that it is the fruit of all trees. Learn not to touch Eve who was talking to this devil either. He replies that he will die. It refers to the contagiousness of sin. 4/The devil denies the Word of God. /He said he would never die. 5/ If you eat, instead of dying, you become like God. That is lying. The essence of the devil's sin of tempting Eve is that you must deny God and you must become God.
Luther saw this as pride. The fall of mankind in Eden was said to be pride. So God and man were at odds. Because there is a discord between God and man, there is also a conflict between man and man. This conflict and hatching was so serious that it led to murder in the days of Cain. Cain also complained a lot to God and Abel before the sacrificial issue. Cain could not rule this with faith and love, and he was guilty of murder by killing his younger brother. Unable to control only the complaints and grievances lurking in Cain's heart, he offered sacrifices and the discontent grew even greater. So his heart became even worse.
I think it is saying that if you have Cain's murder in your heart and you don't want to commit murder, you have to hold on to anger in your heart and do not worship.
1. The true sacrifice starts from the heart.
The act of faith is not based on superficial conditions that people can see. It is in the invisible soul. It is unacceptable to God to worship without godliness in your heart, so if you are offering a sacrifice and remember that you will be criticized by your brother, you must first go and be reconciled with your brother and offer the stopped offering. Murder and adultery do not arise from circumstances, but rather because of lack of love. Where there is no love for the brother, he has the idea that he must be his first/ his own will, and this leads to envy and jealousy. The expression of this evil lust and covetousness leads to crime. Israel is a religious country. They are almost all believers. You commit sins while living your life of faith. In order to lead a chaste life, it is not solved by constantly offering sacrifices. He said that we should be reconciled to our brothers.
2. True worship begins with reconciliation (23-24)
The word Hwamo is + /. This is a compound word that means through (dia) and interchanges with each other. This is to get rid of the hostility of resentment / = opposing hostility through exchange of heart and language by giving and receiving, through fellowship, through dialogue. When Jesus taught prayer, he asked for our sins to be forgiven just as we forgive our sins. Matthew 18:35 / My heavenly Father will do the same to you, unless you forgive your brother centrally. Jesus is the sacrifice of propitiation. So, through the cross, He reconciled us to God and made us live as ambassadors of reconciliation. (2 Corinthians 5:18) Reconciliation is more urgent than worship.
3. Make peace with the person who is accusing (25)
When you are on the road with the person who is accusing you, you are told to have a conversation quickly. The saga is to be/have a favor. It means not looking at it negatively, but looking at it positively. It means that we should think from the soft and good side of whether or not we will judge each other even if we are on the other side while appealing to each other. He told me to make peace with a positive mind and attitude from negative thoughts and take the cattle.
We should note the words 24/first and haste. A true worshiper is not to worship with what is in his heart.
4. Do not judge your brothers (Romans 14:10)
5. A way to reconcile.
Then how can we be reconciled and reconciled to serve God in peace without contention?
1) We must remember the Lord's death. (1 Corinthians 11: Conflict and the Lord's Supper)
The death of Jesus was to unite those who were separated and make them members of the body of the church. But it is not God's will for members to fight and quarrel. The Corinthian church was ministered by giants of faith. Peter/Apollo/Paul. So genealogy. There were many. At this time, he said that we should only think of and follow Jesus.
2) We must keep the fraction. (1 Corinthians 11)
Conflict between husband and wife starts with not knowing where they are. There are commonalities and characteristics between men and women, and this should be used as a starting point for cooperation rather than a starting point for conflict. If you keep yourself in place, you can avoid conflict. God has given us offices along with talents. We need to acknowledge each other for this. There are people who come out/talk out of nowhere. I am a poor person and a lesser person.
3) You must have a personality of love rather than a gift.
The Corinthian church is a church with many gifts. There are many good-looking people who are citizens of big cities. However, there were few personalities. So, I was biased towards work and neglected to nurture humanity. So there were a lot of fights, even though we were doing well. Before becoming a worker, I was told to have a character of love. The ideal person that the Apostle Paul thought was Jesus, and he thought that the person of Jesus was love.
4) We must broaden our hearts. (2 Corinthians 6:11-13)
The Corinthian church has a high rank and has many people. But he is a narrow-minded person. So the water solubility is small. The mind must be broad and deep. A large bowl holds a small bowl. However, a small bowl cannot hold a large bowl. A Western proverb says that a woman should not be with an uneducated and stubborn woman. Men were told to stay away from the narrow-minded and foolish. Only when you have a high ideal and a large vessel will there be no quarrels over small matters. When the Holy Spirit comes, He broadens our horizons and our hearts. In other words, this would be called tolerance.
5) We must recognize our own shortcomings. (2 Corinthians 11:1-2/12; 7-10)
