Title: Things to come
The Israelites are people who have lived their life of faith through Jehovah God. In other words, Jehovah God sent the Law and Prophets to the people of Israel to perform religious practices. Their religious practice was that every Israeli male over the age of 20 had to go to the temple once a year to offer a sin offering with an unblemished lamb, to keep the new moon according to the procedure every month, and every year to remember that their ancestors escaped from Egypt. In order to commemorate the feast, a feast was to be observed, and this included the daily life of keeping the Sabbath day holy, and the cleansing of the flesh only after the blood of the lamb was sprinkled with the sacrifice on the altar whenever a sin was committed while living according to the law in daily life. could wear There were hundreds of other religious activities, and their zeal was far more intense than we think.
In front of the people of Israel who had been accustomed to these laws and religious practices, the Son of God appeared out of nowhere and rebuked them for their hypocrisy and lies. From their point of view, how amazing would it be? Also, if you look only at them with your own eyes, those who are called Sons of God are nothing compared to them, and even on the Sabbath that should be kept holy, those who are called Sons of God are doing things that violate the law. could it not be? Also, in the human opinion, if you are a son of God, of course, it would be right to obey the law better, to step out together in what they are doing, and to focus on destroying the Roman soldiers and building the temple as soon as possible. Since he only walked away from the fields, he had no choice but to be hated by them.
Not only that, but this time, he said these great words in front of them, saying, 'Destroy the temple, and I will raise it up in three days!' Even the people who wanted to take good care of him could not see him well because of the rumors that Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, and did good deeds. They had to look at them or not, but as they went on, they couldn't appreciate Jesus' words and actions because they did not understand them at all. This is the difference in the perspective of looking at God from the standpoint of sinful human beings.
Now, this will be repeated in the present Gentiles who have called on the name of Jesus and have become spiritual Christians. These are also people who used to live like dogs and pigs without law before, but after Jesus came to the land of Israel and died on the cross, they depended on the blood he shed and called on his name and became the spiritual people of Israel. As proof that they became the spiritual Israelites, God sent the Holy Spirit as a gift to those who believed in the name of Jesus. The Holy Spirit, who came to the Gentiles, indwelled in the spirits of the Gentiles who came out believing in the name of Jesus, and guided the Gentiles who had been living without God's law so far to live under the law.
It was not a ceremonial law according to the ordinances of the Israelites going to the temple to slaughter cattle and sheep (the law had already been fulfilled by Jesus in the flesh), but a new law that required minimal ceremonies. .
That is the sacrament of sharing the bread and the cup of wine that Jesus personally showed at the Last Supper with his 12 disciples. In addition, there is a baptismal ceremony to bury the old people, and to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus on the first day after the Sabbath, the disciples gathered to worship the Lord on the first day after the Sabbath.
The three-day worship or the Friday All-night service was not instituted by Jesus, and just as the Jews made and kept traditions other than the law to better serve God, even today some zealous people hold the three-day worship service in order to better worship the Lord. It can be said that Friday all night was added. In addition, as the minimum food that Gentiles should abstain from and the rules they should observe, it is to abstain from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from fornication in Acts 15:29. The Bible says that it will be well with those who refrain from these things.
Another way for Gentiles to come to know God is that everyone can come to know God through the gift of the Holy Spirit poured out on each individual. In order not to be deceived by false heresies and false pastors, he specially appointed overseers of the Holy Spirit to manage them.
In this chaos, if Christians who are only engaged in religious activities are told that the Son of God comes and tells them to repent, how will they really accept him? I am very curious to Why are Christians today? Whether it is a religious act, as Jesus said in the Bible, as he told his disciples to commemorate me, includes the sacrament meeting and the sacraments (baptism, baptism), and the worship on the first day after the sabbath (Sunday worship), sacrifices to idols, blood, He was told not to eat anything strangled and was instructed to avoid fornication.
But how do Gentiles today receive the Son of God who comes like this? will do The Son of God will not give the Lord's Supper and the sacraments (baptism, baptism), one of the most important ordinances in the church today. Also, there will be no three-day night service or Friday all-night service. How would Christians today accept that such a Son of God is not just like them? will do
The words and deeds of the Son of God come to provoke the Gentiles more and more. "Hey! Hypocrites! Do not pretend to be holy only on the outside, but be holy in speed!??Christians who see it, especially those who are most zealous today, are the first to argue. 'Hey! You don't celebrate Holy Communion and sacraments, and you don't even offer the three-day service and all-night service, what! We say we are hypocrites, and you are a hypocrite!' If you truly believe that you are the Son of God and that Jesus has sent you, then Jesus asks, 'Can you recklessly disobey the sacraments and sacraments that Jesus said to commemorate me?' Even just looking at it, 'Do you not know that you are a fake?' This is the difference in the perspective of looking at the Lord from the standpoint of a sinner even today. How can foolish people who do not understand themselves understand the deep will of God?
