Title: Thinking of Life (Eccl. 07:13-14)
Content Pascal said, "Man was born to think. Therefore, man cannot live without thinking for a moment." Pascal saw man as a thinking reed, a thinking being.
A man named Sidney once said, "He who is with noble thoughts is never alone."
Depending on what he thinks, he may or may not be alone. Thinking about the loneliness makes you lonely, but thinking about the non-solitude doesn't make you lonely. If you think about worrying, you will fall into worry, but if you think about not worrying, you can get out of worry.
In that sense, it is very important what kind of thinking you live. The Bible teaches that God's thoughts are always good, good, and beautiful.
<Isaiah 55:8-9> says, "My thoughts are not your thoughts, my ways are not your ways, just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts."
Human thoughts and God's thoughts differ in dimension and quality.
<Psalm 139:17> says, "How precious are your thoughts to me, O God, how many are they!"
God's thoughts are summarized in how to make people happy, how to teach people the true life, and how to make people live well.
In <Jeremiah 29:11> he said, "I know my thoughts, not disasters, but peace, to give you hope for your future."
But what about man's thoughts? In <Genesis 6:5>, it says, "The Lord sees that man's iniquity is pervasive in the world, and that every plan of the thoughts of his heart is always only evil."
Humans are fundamentally evil. And not only think of evil once, but always of evil from beginning to end.
<Psalm 10:4> says, "The wicked man with his proud face says, The LORD does not see it, and in all his thoughts there is no God."
When the evil mind of man develops, it becomes atheism. The most hated and unforgivable sin by God is atheism, which denies the existence of God. When human hearts become arrogant, they deny the existence of God and worship other gods.
1. Rejoice in Prosperous Days To rejoice in prosperous days means to believe and live righteously when things are going well and when you are successful. Prosperity doesn't mean eating, playing, drinking and enjoying life. When business is going well, come to your senses and believe right away, and when your body is healthy, be alert and believe in Jesus.
People often indulge in good times and fall into laziness, arrogance, and especially unbelief. Then why is this happening? The reason is that in times of peace, people do much for the flesh.
If we have experienced good times, we must know that bad times will come again at any time, and we must continue our faith life.
We must live our lives with a heart that is always prepared, fearing God and fearing God. 1) We must not despise God, who is patiently waiting for us to repent. <Romans 2:4> 2) We must not neglect God who works through the word rather than through the majesty of signs and wonders in this world. <1 Kings 19:12-13> 3) Always before God who sees in secret You must live modestly. <Matthew 6:1-4> 4) When you receive praise from others, you must not enjoy it. <Luke 16:15> Are you prosperous now? Rejoice in God in prosperous days.
To be of God means to rejoice with God and with God. Joy without being with God does not bring true satisfaction.
2].Think on afflicted days. In affliction days, he tells you to think. This is a message to carefully examine the meaning and value of suffering in the midst of suffering and adversity. To think means "look".
It says to see what you have not seen until now when you are in trouble.
When we suffer, we need to be able to see the following three things. 1) You must be able to see yourself as a sinner.
This means that you should not look outside the reasons for your own sufferings and trials, but first look within yourself. A person can only know his weakness when he is afflicted.
2] We must see others suffering.
That's for two reasons. One is for comfort and the other is for comfort. When people are at peace, they ignore others, but when they are in tribulation, they tend to soften and accept others.
3] We must look to the Lord. In troubled days, in trouble, let's look to Junil "In trouble, look at the face of the Lord, look to the Lord of peace" Why should we look to the Lord It is the power that our Lord Himself suffered and can heal this suffering. Because we believe that you are a person with
