Title: Thirsty Jesus (John 19:28-30)

It records the situation just before Jesus died in relatively detailed detail.

He said he was thirsty and said he was finished.

He said that he was particularly thirsty, and after solving that thirst, he said that he was exhausted and died.

In verses 29 and 30,

… .People put seaweed filled with fresh wine on hyssop. After receiving the new wine, Jesus said, “It is finished.” He bowed his head and died. Why did Jesus say I am thirsty?

It would have been more impressive if he had just died without even telling him that he was thirsty, but would he have said that I was thirsty?

Jesus knew that the time had come for the suffering to end. Did you say that I'm still thirsty

As to the reason, the Bible says:

In verse 28

After this, Jesus, knowing that all things had already been accomplished, so that the scriptures might be fulfilled, said, I am thirsty.

1 In order to fulfill the Bible, Jesus said that he was thirsty.

It has two meanings.1) The purpose of the Bible record is to let you know that it must be fulfilled without any change.

In Psalm 22:18, a psalm of David's prophecy that foretold the suffering of Jesus Christ to come.

He made us know that the prophecy that had been prophesied, “We gave gall for my food, and gave me vinegar to drink when I was thirsty,” had come true. As prophesied in the Bible, this world will be ruled by our Lord.

2) The reason you cried out that you were thirsty was to make the Bible come true, so that readers who read the Bible today can know that Jesus is thirsty today.

Matthew 25:31-46 When the Son of Man comes in glory...

The shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. Sheep and goats are not easily distinguished. It is not easy to tell the difference between someone who goes to church and a disciple of Jesus. They go to the same church. We tithe together. We spend the night together and pray. Relief also. But the shepherd separates them. The time will come when the sheep are on the today's side and the goats are on the left.

The shepherd explains the reason why Jesus, the chief shepherd of the sheep on the right, has come and will be blessed by my Father, the sheep on the right hand, who are confused, will inherit the kingdom of God.

I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to see me.

When did you make us drink when we were thirsty?

Verse 33 says that the one who separates the sheep from the goats is the shepherd. In verse 40, the king answered and said, “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me… How to meet Jesus You must first discover the thirsty Jesus in the Bible.

And it teaches us by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

This person is always busy. Money is always scarce. I also need to make a lot of money. Our Jesus is hungry and our Jesus says he is thirsty, but our Jesus has no clothes. Our Jesus is imprisoned over there, and I have to go to a visit. Jesus said I am thirsty so that we can hear his voice even now. In today's Word, the voice of Jesus, whom you love, crying that he is thirsty came alive in the Word and we heard it in our ears.

Then someone puts a bowl full of sour wine. This wine is said to be a painkiller for the gall of an animal. that uh
